~3rd person POV~
After what felt like forever to Alex (only one minute) the boy had arrived. He stared at Alex for what felt like eternity then the freckled boy said, "it's you again?"
"is that you?" Alex answered the boy's question with another. The boy walked up to Alex, so he stood up. Alex, curious to see if this boy is really his soulmate, deliberately made himself cry by thinking of the last time he saw his father. A tear rolled down his cheek, this caused the boy to stop in his tracks, then his eyes flooded with tears. The freckled boy started to cry, Alex looked up wiping his face 'is he sharing my tears?' the boy finally spoke
"my name is John, John Laurens"
"Alexander Hamilton..."
"your eyes, they're... brown"
"and yours are... blue..."
John ran up to Alexander and hugged him. They both felt their hearts burn as John started cry, Alex soon followed. Then when Alex opened his eyes he was overwhelmed to see two things he hadn't seen his entire life, the colour blue and his soul mate.
"your shirt," John exclaimed "it's brown... it's not grey!"
"and your eyes," Alex stated, "are actually blue!"
Soon the sisters popped out of nowhere and Alex could finally see the girl's blue sun dress, it was blue not grey. John looked at Peggy's new, brown, dress for a date tonight, and it wasn't grey!
The newly found soulmates walked up to the girls, Alexander bowed as though he were a butler and said
"it's a pleasure to meet you." Peggy quickly scribbled down something in her notebook, ripped it out and handed it to Alex
"here it's John's email" she winked then walked off with her sisters.
"Just text me your number and I'll call you." He hugged Alex one more time then waved goodbye.
"hurry John, I'll be late for my date." Peggy exclaimed. John ran after them.
Alex stayed a little longer, still overwhelmed about what just happened, texted Adam asking if he could pick him up.
On the way home Alex asked Adam
"hey Adam, I was wondering if you know any nice restaurants around?"
Adam spat out his water and nearly had an accident
"Alex, have you found your soul mate?" Alex nodded.
