I woke up and looked around. Well damn. I don't even remember getting home last night

I got up and was going to get dressed until I heard Briya screaming and running around.

Then Kentrell busts in my door and hops on my bed while I mug him harder than a bitch

"Aw fuck naw. You got 2 lil jit a running around this bitch" he said taking a pre rolled blunt out of his pocket and lighting it up

"Nigga 2 ? And it's too early to be high but pass that shit" I say sitting back down on the bed

"Yea. Some lil nigga. He said he was 2 but his lil ass talk like a grown ass man" Trell said taking the blunt out my hand

I didn't even say nothing to his ass. Instead, I got up and went downstairs I looked and saw Briya and the lil boy from last night.

"Where Cuban at ?" I ask. They both look up at me and shrug

"Her is sleep" the boy said

"Ight . What yo name lil man?" I ask so I ain't gotta call him lil man all the time

"Jayce" he says focusing on the tablet in his hand.

" daddy we hungry" Briya says rubbing her stomach and making fake growling sounds

"So can we eat?" She asks unfazed by what I just said

"Yea lemme wake Cuban up" I say jogging back up the steps.

I walk into Cubans room and see her on the floor crying and sorting through clothes

"You good?" I ask going to sit beside her

"No. When we talk about this can you please try to understand and not judge me?" She asks me looking at my feet.

"Yea. Go head, I'm listening" I say pulling her on the bed and putting my arm around her

"So when I was 14 and he was 18 me and Rico was dating." She started off.

I scrunched up my face cause this nigga was grown and she was a child but whatever

"This was a year after my parents died and I was lost but I was getting by. One night we went to a party and he took my virginity that night." I scoffed but I let her continue

"So like a month after that I found out I was pregnant and when I told Rico he was beyond pissed but I wasn't giving him up for adoption or aborting him. Rico made me live with him. I couldn't go anywhere, I could only talk to Molly and D.C on the phone. I missed my whole 8th grade school year then when I had the baby I went to sleep and when I woke up Rico was gone and he had the baby transferred to another hospital but the nurses wouldn't tell me where. He left a note and I remember what it said word by word.
