Skipping forward three weeks to Friday, I could say that things were going well. Kellin hadn't snapped at me again, and I still had my stupid hopeless crush on him.

Right now Kellin and I were messaging each other because we had separate classes (I'm in Maths while he's in English). It was kind of funny, really, because at the end of each message we would sign our names with a V or a K.

He kept sending me stuff about having a party at my place tomorrow while my mum was away. All I could think about was having to clean up the mess so I sent back, "I don't want to clean that mess, so idk maybe we'll have one when I'm not lazy - V"

"come on vic, I'll help clean. let's just, y'know, have an awesome party - K"

I signed, giving into him quickly. "fine whatever. you're cleaning the mess tho - V"

After that, we spent the rest of the afternoon telling people where the party was. Pretty much everyone was invited.

After school had finished, Kellin took my mum's credit card and went shopping for party supplies. He had told me he would be at my house early the next day.

I went to sleep that night thinking, 'Why did I agree to this party?'
