Spirited Away 2: Chihiro Returns

Chapter One

I'm flying. I'm riding on a dragon. It has white scales and blue hair. Then it turns into a boy. It's Haku. Then he whispers something. "I miss you Chihiro."

Then my eyes shoot open I'm still in my bed at home I'm not flying. It was just a dream-sadly-to be honest I miss the spirit world. It has been six years since I had last visited. Right after we left my dad has stopped taking short cuts. Turns out we had been gone for over a week! For me it had only felt like 3 days but my parents don't remember a thing! So Yubaba had erased there memories of all the things that had happened. I'm now a Junior at high school and I have absolutely no friends! Everyone thought I was some freak and because I guess I'm a very socially awkward person.
I jumped out of bed and went to my bathroom and took a shower. Once I was done I got dressed put on a bit of mascara and blush then I put my hair up in a high pony-tail with the elastic Zeniba gave me-yes I still had it and yes I still used it-Once I was done I headed downstairs and greeted my parents. "Morning mom. Morning dad." I said as I grabbed a plate of pancakes then sat at the Island and ate. "Morning sweety." My mother said to me. "Hunny. Today I need you to do something for me." My mother said to me. "Okay, what do you need?" I said to her. "You know that place down the hill in the backyard? You know that place where your father got us lost." She said. Wait she want's me to go back to the bathhouse? "Um.... Yes." I said sounding awkward. "Well when your father was driving like a maniac and made that fast stop. The trunk opened and I just noticed today that I lost a shoe." "A shoe? Really? Can't you buy a new pair?" I said. "No because this shoe is no longer for sale they are my flower print wedges I got when I was your age and they still fit." "How do you know that?" "Because I still have the one shoe and it fit. I need them for tomorrow so could you go today?" She is lucky I don't have school today. "Fine. I will head there now just to get this over with. But chances are it's not there it has been 6 years mom." "I know but what's the harm?" 'Oh you have know idea' I thought.
Once I was done my breakfast I went upstairs and brushed my teeth then got my Converse and headed out towards the place I thought I would never see again.
I got to the entrance and just stood there and looked into the tunnel. I turned around and started looking for the shoe. I looked done and the tire marks from 6 years ago were still here. I kept looking for the shoe but no luck,I bet one of the spirits took it. I looked back into the tunnel once more and the wind was pushing me in like the last time I was here. I took a step near the tunnel and then another one and then another one until my whole body was inside it. I decided to go through the tunnel until I reached the other side. Once I was out I said "Oh, how I miss this place." With tears threatening to pour out. I walked around for a bit longer until I stumbled upon the bridge. In the middle I stumbled upon my mothers shoe. "There you are!" I said as I walked towards the bridge. I stopped nearing the beginning. I took a breath and then walked onto it. I bent down and picked up the shoe and started walking back.
That was until the sunset. All the lights were being lit and I gasped. I ran off the bridge and hid in a bush so nobody would see me. I may be happy to be back but I'm still a human and this world of course hates my kind. The bathhouse lit up and the steam coming from the boiler room were coming out. "Hmmm. Maybe I should visit Kamaji first." I quickly ran across the bridge and headed towards the door leading to the boiler room. Once I got to the other side I saw the steps. I then walked down the steps and walked through the door that was the boiler room. I walked in and silently closed the door and headed through the hall, Once I got at the end I saw Kamaji and along with a boy who awfully looked like..No.. It can't be... HAKU!! I covered my mouth and hid behind the wall to hear what they were saying. "So Haku I haven't seen you in a while. Where have you been?" Kamaji asked while working. "Working. Just because I quit being Yubabas hench man doesn't mean I don't have to work here." "Oh. So have you gone to visit her?" Kamaji replied. "Ya. I miss her so much Kamaji. I wish she was here right now." I couldn't believe my ears. The soot balls looked over at me and went crazy and dropped all the coal and came running at me. "ALRIGHT! GET BACK TO WORK!" Kamaji yelled. All the soot balls ran back and got back to work. "What is up with them? Why did they run over there?" Haku asked. Haku got up and started walking over to where I was. I gasped and immediately covered my mouth. "Who's there?" He asked walking closer but not all the way. "I know someone's there. You can come out. We wont hurt you." I took my hand off my mouth and slowly walked out of my spot. "H-h-Hi." I said stuttering. "Oh my god." Haku said "Wh-wh-what are you doing here?" He said. "Um. Mind explaining who this human is Haku?" Kamaji said. I just giggled and said "Wow. Kamaji, you don't even remember your own granddaughter?" "What? I don't have a granddaughter." He said. "That's not what you told Lin last time I was here just so she could take me to Yubaba." "What? Sen? Is it really you?" He said. "Ya. I'm back! But please call me Chihiro" I said smiling. I looked over at Haku who just stared at me shocked. "Um.. Haku? are you okay?" I asked. Then He engulfed me in a huge hug. "Chihiro! Oh my god I'm so glad your back I missed you so much." He said I hugged him back and nuzzled my head in his neck. I felt so safe when he hugged me. "okay. What's going on in here. Um.... Kamaji who is that? A HUMAN!! Kamaji please say that isn't another one of your grandkids?" The voice who I immediately knew it was Lin! "Actually it is my Granddaughter from last time." "What? You don't mean SEN?!" Haku let go and just stared at me. I giggled a bit but then looked over to see Lin! I ran to her and she gave me a hug "Oh how I missed you! Look at you! You have grown up! How old are you now? 20? 17?" I giggled and said "16 actually but close." We just giggled at that "Oh and could you guys call me by Chihiro?" " Of course!" Lin said "Chihiro." Haku said. I walked over to him and gave him another long hug. "I missed you so much Haku." I said. "I missed you too Chihiro." He said back "Ah. Love." I heard Kamaji whisper but loud enough for me to hear. "Chihiro!" Lin yelled I looked over at her and said "Ya" I said "You're disappearing!" She said. I looked over at Haku who reached in his pocket and grabbed a small red pill or something that he gave me last time I was here. He handed it to me and I gladly ate it. "Thanks." I said to them.
