Spirited Away 2: Chihiro Returns

Chapter Eight

Chihiro's P.O.V.

"Chihiro. Will you.... Go on a date with me on Saturday?" He said blushing madly. "Yes! Haku I would love to." I said giving him a hug. "Great. So I will meet out by the bridge." He said smiling. Before I was able to leave Haku leaned in and kissed. We stayed like that for what felt like forever but it was only 3 minutes. When we pulled apart we said our goodbyes and I kissed him on the cheek and went inside. When I walk in I see Lin sitting on the bed giving me a grin. "So. What happened?" She asked. "He asked me out on a date this Saturday." I said giggling. "AAWWE! You to are so cute!" She said giving me a hug. "Thanks." I said back. "Well we should head to bed now. Night." Lin said heading to bed. "Night." I replied doing the same.

~Next Morning~

"LIN! Wake up! It's time to work!" I said hitting her with a pillow-What she's my friend well more like my sister so she doesn't mind- Lin still wouldn't get up so I had to do the worst idea she would probably hate me for after. "Lin if you don't get up I will get Haku to jump on you and it won't be pretty." I said giving her an evil smirk. "You wouldn't dare." She said looking up at me and shooting evil daggers. "I would." I said doing the same thing. "Fine." she said getting up. "Thank you."
When Lin was done getting ready a thought came to me last minute. I froze shocked and nervous. "Lin." "Ya." "T-T-Tomorrows my first date with Haku and I have nothing to wear." I said "Don't worry I have some clothes you can borrow, you look like you can fit in them." She said giving me a smile.
When we got to the foreman to get our assignment we were stopped by a spirit who then looked at me and then backhanded me so hard I flew almost across the room and landed on me side. "You disgusting creature what the hell are you doing here?! You don't belong here! Go back to were you belong you filthy smelly pest!" The spirit said. The spirit was very big, green and it looked like a goblin. "Excuse me sir but that is our worker Yubaba has her completely under her control and if she doesn't listen she will be turned into a pig." The foreman reassured him. "I don't care what Yubaba said. I am following my rights and I have the right to dispose of this disgusting thing. I am only protecting us. This human has no right to be here." He said picking me up my hair and throughing me across the room until I hit a wall. "Sir please stop this, this human is not going to harm us." The foreman says again. "I DON'T CARE! I AM GOING TO DO WHATEVER I WANT TO THIS HUMAN!" "CHIHIRO!" I hear someone yell I look over and see Haku upset and furious with the guest. The people are trying to hold him back. The goblin comes up to me and slaps me dead hard across the face and my vision is going blurry now. "STOP IT!" I hear Haku yell again and it's no use Haku breaks free from the crowed and goes straight at the goblin and turns into his dragon form and starts attacking the goblin. Lin runs up to me and kneels down beside me and gets a wet cloth and dabs on my wounds. "Are you okay." She asks. "Ya. I'm fine just a little sore." I look over at Haku and see him fighting off the goblin. Just then Yubaba comes in looking furious then ever. "STOP THIS!" She screams. Haku looks then turns back into his human form then looks at me with sadness in his eyes. "What is the meaning of this?" She says walking up to our costumer. "This costumer here attacked Chihiro." Haku says still pissed off. "What?" She says now furious. "I was standing up for us spirits and doing the right thing to protect us." The spirit said. "I don't care. This human is under my control and if she doesn't listen she knows what will happen. Now if you are not happy how I run things here then you can leave." Yubaba replies sticking up for me. "Now Haku go and take Chihiro to my office and get her cleaned up and make sure to tend to her wounds properly." Haku comes over and gently picks me up bridal style and makes sure to be careful. While we were walking I fell asleep in Hakus arms.
When I woke up it had to be around 3 AM, I tried to sit up but got a stabbing pain in my right side and my head was throbbing. "Oh, you're finally awake." I look over and see that I'm in Yubabas office on a couch. "Oh. What happened?" I ask. "You took one good beating from that forest spirit. You were asleep for a while. You're wounds didn't look bad but when actually that spirit bruised your right rib cage and almost gave you a brain trama." "Oh. Where's-" "Haku is over there he fell asleep and didn't leave. You have been asleep all day. It's Saturday now and the bathhouse should be closing soon." "WHAT!? Oh my god I totally missed my date." I whispered the last part. "Chi-Chihiro." I look over at Haku who was now waking up. Haku opens his eyes and see's me and gets up hugs me. "Are you okay?" Haku asks. "Ya. My head and side hurts a bit." I say. "Oh my god, Haku I'm so sorry I totally missed our date." I say feeling guilty. "It's fine all that matters is that you're okay." He says and then kisses me passionately.
