Spirited Away 2: Chihiro Returns

Chapter Six

Haku's P.O.V.

"CHIHIRO!" I screamed when she fell in. I took my shirt off and told Lin to pull the lever to get the water from stopping and I dived right in after her. Once I was in the water I saw Chihiro sinking to the bottom and I swam after her and grabbed her. When we got to the top Lin grabbed her and pulled her out. "Damn. Why do these big baths have to be so deep?" I heard Lin say. I pulled my self out I we checked to see if Chihiro was okay. "She is still breathing." That was all it took for me to be calm down. "Here carry her to Kamaji's he will give her something." Lin said. I picked Chihiro up bridal style and headed to Kamaji's.
When I got to Kamaji's with Chihiro he was immediately concerned on what happened. Kamaji set down some blankets and pillow to get her comfortable and then got her some type of medicine I forgot the name of. After that I told Kamaji what had happened. "She fell in the big bath?" He asked. "Yup with the water still running." I replied "My god that is very dangerous. We all know that the big bath is very deep. It is for our very big guests." "Ya. I know. I just hope she will be okay." "Don't worry she will be just fine she is alive, but sleeping it off."

Chihiro's P.O.V.

It's dark. I'm scared. Am I dead? No I can't be because the next thing I hear is "Don't worry she will be just fine she is alive, but sleeping it off." That must be Kamaji, I know that man's voice anywhere, but who is he talking to? "I know but what if she doesn't wake up? She swallowed a lot of water. Kamaji I can't live without her. She just got back she can't leave yet. She just can't. She has her whole life to live still. Kamaji I just got her back and I don't want to lose her already." That must be Haku! I listen in more. "Haku. I know that you love and care about Chihiro and that you are concerned but she is fine. Okay I checked her pulse and her heart they are doing fine, and you know that is this the only thing that is bothering you or are you scared of something else? Like her having to leave sooner or later?" The boiler man said. "Yes. Kamaji I do love her and I do want her to stay here but she can't. She is still 16 and in high school. I want her to graduate and go have fun and go to the beach and live her life. If she stays here I will be very happy but I wont be able to live and feel guilty knowing that she gave up her entire life to stay here with us." What? Haku loves me? Wait Haku is scared that I will leave? Wait did he just say he will feel guilty if I don't? "And if she leaves?" "I would never be able to live knowing I let the best person in my life slip away. Kamaji I just wish there was a way for her to be with me and for her to be able to do all those things without leaving." I heard him reply and hear him sobbing, he is crying? 'NO! HAKU! I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE! I WANT TO STAY WITH YOU!I LOVE YOU!' I thought. I just wish I could say that out loud. But I'm a huge chicken when it comes to this stuff.

Haku's P.O.V.

"No. Haku. I don't want to leave." I look up to see where that noise is coming from and I turn to see it's coming from Chihiro. "What?" I say and move beside her "I want to. Stay with you. I-I-I love you." She says. "Talking in her sleep? Well that must be the medicine." Kamaji says. "What medicine?" "The medicine I gave her to help her feel better. I guess we know that she really is alive." "Wait but why would she say that?" I ask sounding very confused. "I guess that maybe she heard what you said and just gave you your answer." "Bu-" I was cut off by Lin storming in and looking very nervous. "HAKU! We have a problem!" "What?" I asked. "We have a guest that is requesting you and would like to see you NOW!" She said. I looked over at Chihiro who was now silent. I bent over and gave her a peck on the cheek and whispered in her ear hoping she would hear me. "I love you." And I got up and walked out seeing what this person wanted.

Chihiro's P.O.V.

"I love you." Was all I heard left.
When I woke up I immediately looked around to see where I was. I was in the boiler room. So I guess what I heard really might have not just been my imagination. "Ah. So you're up." I look over to see Kamaji working. Like usual. "Ya. Hey where is Haku?" "So you want to see him already? You can find him with the foreman. He has to deal with some business." "Oh. Okay I will just wait here then." I don't want to bother him with all these questions while he is working.
~15 Minutes Later~
'Where is he?' I thought. "I'm going to go look for him." I told Kamaji. "Okay." Was all he said. I got up and headed for the door when all of a sudden...BOOM.... I was knocked down and someone was on top of me. "Ow." I said rubbing my head. I open my eyes to see that it was Haku that was on top of me. He looked down at me to. "Chihiro." He said with joy in his voice. "Hey. Haku I-" I said trying to tell him how I feel when I was cut off by an annoying preppy voice came. "Oh HAKU! WHERE ARE YOU MY LOVE?" WTF? "Oh no!" "There you are! Where have you been? I've been looking for you. You just ran off. We have to go now we have a wedding to plan." WHAT!? A WEDDING?! I just stood there shocked. "What is that awful smell Haku?" She looked over at me with a disgusted look. "HAKU! Why on earth is there a human here? Go away Shoo you disgusting thing!" "SHUT UP!" I look over at Haku who had just yelled at the girl. "Haku. I am your fiancée how dare you yell at me." She replied shocked. "I am not marrying you! Just because when we were kids and our parents wanted us to get married doesn't mean I am going to. It is my decision who I want to be with not theirs. Now please leave." I look at Haku who looks back at me. "Haku." I say softly. "Fine. Have it your way but you will be mine Kohaku River." And with that she left. Haku turns and looks at me. I look at him and we both hug each other as if one of us was leaving and never coming back. "Haku." I say sobbing. "Chihiro." "Haku I'm so sorry. I-I-I just can't leave you." I say sobbing fearing the day I have to leave. We let go of each other and look each other in the eyes. "But Chihiro you have to as much as it hurts you have to. You have a whole life ahead of you and you have a family." "Haku. I don't care they never even treated me properly. They treated me like shit. They don't care about me. Haku I want to stay and I want to be with you. Haku I...."
