     You 'member that girl from the bathroom last week? I passed her in the hallway a minute ago and hardcore avoided her. She fuckin' looked at me too. I made my way to the science hall where my homeroom was. Okay, so maybe I was low key looking forward to seeing Gus again. I mean, I saw him this morning because I picked him up, but still. It'd been three hours. I kinda missed his weird lil ass. He loved to mess with me... something nobody else had ever really bothered to do.

     Gus constantly fucked up my hair and left random reminders on my phone. After I dropped him off at his place on Sunday, I had at least six fucking alarms that went off on my way home. Each alarm or reminder was named something gross like "panties" or "titties." Perverted headass. Okay... maybe I wasn't ready to see his annoying ass again.

     I wasn't late, I knew that. The bell still hadn't rung. I rounded the corner and cringed as Mr. Henslee waved me closer. This asshole was not only my biology teacher, but my goddamn homeroom teacher as well. Fuck me. "Yessir?" I asked, walking up to him. He bent his tall ass down to show me a notecard. "Would you mind taking attendance to the office? Computers are down. This is going to cut in to my first period's class time. I just know it." He continued on about how behind we were. I waited until he stopped to catch a breath before I interrupted. "Yeah, sure. Next to guidance, right?"

     Bitch, do you think I know where the fucking attendance office is? Um, no. Henslee nodded and handed me the paper. During this guy's whole damn rant, Gus had turned around in his seat and noticed me by the door. Once the teacher had made his way back to the front of the classroom, Gus hightailed it out into the hallway. "What are you doing?" I asked, laughing. "He's gon' see your dumbass!" Gus shook his head and somehow fucking laced his fingers with mine. "He won't know shit. 'Less you tell 'em."

     "Nah, I gotchu. Do you know where the attendance office is though?" Gus chuckled and swung our arms as we walked. "Yeah. Had to go there all the time last year when I skipped." I raised a brow. "How did you not get held back?" Gus scratched the back of his neck with his free hand. "Who said I passed?"
