*Flashback to elementary school…*

“Ariana look!” Zayn yelled to Ariana. She ran over to see what he was pointing at. It was a couple in probably their twenties holding hands and kissing down the street.

“Eww that’s gross!” They yelled together.

“Zayn you talk funny. Why do you talk like that?” Ariana asked tilting her head.

“Im not from here. I’m from Bradford in England!” He said to her walking over to the swings.

“Oh! Wanna get married?” Ariana asked him smiling revealing her dimple.

“Sure! I’ll get the rings!” Zayn smiled walking around to find things. He stopped when he seen a toy machine ring and a small key chain ring.”

“I now promounce  you my wife!” Zayn said putting the toy ring on Ariana’s finger.

“And I now promunce you my husband.” She said sliding the key ring on his.

“What do we do now?”  Ariana asked.

“You’re suppose to kiss me.”  He said leaning in. As soon as their lips touched they pulled away.

“EW!” They said together.

“What does being married mean?” Zayn asked her as they walked back to where the other kids were.

“It means we have to be together forever no matter what I think. And we have to love each other like my mommy and daddy do.” Ariana said and sat at the table with Zayn.

“Okay! I promise I will!” He smiled

“I promise too!” She said and pinky promised him…

*Middle School.*

Zayn walked over and seen girls surrounding Ariana and heard her crying.

“Whats wrong?” He asked her standing by the others.

“Ariana’s a cry baby! That’s why her hair is funny looking and she’s weird!” One of the little girls told Zayn and pointed at Ariana laughing.

“Leave her alone! She’s fine. Lets go Ari.” Zayn said taking her hand and walked her to where the other kids weren’t.

“Im weird Zayn! I have funny looking hair, im short, and just funny looking!” She cried.

“No you’re not! You’re perfectly fine! Don’t listen to them, they’re just mean! I’ll be your friend if they wont!” He smiled at her.

“Thanks Zayn. You’re my best friend.” She smiled and hugged him.

“We’re stuck!” Zayn laughed. Ariana’s toy ring was tangled with Zayns Key ring that they worse as a necklace now.

“Best friends?” Ariana asked Zayn.

“Best friends.” Zayn said back and pinky promised…

*Freshman Year*

“Zayn come over here!” Ariana yelled to Zayn while walking out of the school

“Whats up?” He smiled and walked by her.

“Liam is gonna ask Danielle to homecoming.” She smiled and Zayn.

“Congrats lad! That’s really cool.” They said and high fived each other.

“Thanks! I’m gonna head home you guys! See ya tomorrow!” Liam said and walked with Cher, Niall, Louis, Eleanor, and Harry down the street to their houses.
