Ariana’s POV:

My alarm went off at exactly seven and it was raining. Amazing! Zayn’s arm was still wrapped around me holding me tight, I actually slept the whole night without the light on because of him. I tried to slide out of his arms without him noticing.

“You okay love?” He woke up pulling me closer to him.

God he sounded beautiful when he wakes up! His voice sounded way deeper.

“I’m fine, im gonna get to the bathroom I’ll be right back.” I told him letting his hand go. He smiled and went back to sleep. That was slick!

I showered and changed into my clothes. I didn’t want to take the car; that would be obvious. So I put on my sweater, grabbed my umbrella and walked to the café. It wasn’t a far walk, I mean it was only a couple blocks away.

I slowly closed the door and started walking…

*At the café*

I walked into the diner and closed my umbrella and there he was waiting for me with a smile on his face.

I did miss him, but we weren’t good for each other. I walked over to him and smiled.

“Hey.” I said and hugged him.

“Hey baby. I missed you.” He said and kissed me.

“What did you want to talk about?” I asked him and sat on the opposite side of the table. He took my hands and held them tight.

“I miss you.” He smiled.

“I miss you too.” I sighed.

“Then why don’t we get back together? We were perfect together.” He smiled.

“You cheated. You kissed another girl. But…I know you love me. Because if you didn’t, you wouldn’t try to make this work. And I love you too Nathan. I’m in love with you really. But we just cant do this. Nobody is gonna win out of this, I’d still need you and you’d still need me. We can’t keep putting each other through this.” I was in love with him but im not sure how much though.

“Babe, come on it was one mistake.” He sighed.

“I just cant Nathan. Not right now. Its gotta be someone out there that you’re in love with.” I smiled at him.

“There is.” He said looking down.

“See! Who is she?”

“Ariana Grande.” He said looking at me. My heart melted. Why did he have to do this to me?

“Nathan. I want you to meet someone else, so…lets just be friends. Let’s eat and just have a nice time okay?” I begged him.

“Fine.” He smiled at me.

He would always be my little sloth and I’d always be his Chihuahua. We talked about other things, like his band he was in now; The Wanted. They were pretty cool guys, and I told him about Demi and I’s group. We honestly sat in there for an hour till I realized I had to get back.

We were outside when I started walking and he went back to his car.

“You’re seriously about to walk in the rain? Get in.” He said pulling me into his car.

“If you take me hostage I will call the cops.” I smiled and him and closed the door.

“Oh shut up.” He laughed and drove me to my house. The ride was pretty quiet but he held my hand, I didn’t pull away this time though.

He pulled up to the house and walked me to the door.

“Thank you for being reasonable about this.” I smiled at him.
