Charles' POV

I hate keeping secrets! I'm not very good at it, and when it comes to Jake, I hate it. But I've got to hide a big secret about Jake, that actually most people at the Nine-Nine know. It's only Hitchcock and Scully that don't know it. And the entire rest of the Precinct don't know, apart from close friends of Jake Peralta, a hero in many ways, a man that is going undercover, and risking his life just for his career. That's brave work, right there. Incredibly brave. And the person doing it, is my best friend!

Rosa's POV

Admitting the Precinct feels empty can be a little tough, but I think it is very clear. It's been two weeks since Jake left the Precinct, and not everyone is the same. Charles is definitely taking it harder than anyone else, and Amy is even acting strangely. But that isn't a new surprise, Amy has always been a little odd.

Amy's POV

Eighteen days, sixteen hours, thirty-six minutes.

I've been going insane for that long. Because the Precinct is so empty. Because the cases are so hard to solve. Because Jake isn't here.

One of the last memories I have with Jake in the Precinct makes me smile. Only because it's a classic Jake move.

Flashback - Twenty Days Ago

I was scrambling through the draws on my desk looking for the open case I had specifically left on the right side of my desk, directly at a fourth-five degree angle, so I would see it while working on my computer.

"What you looking for Ames?" Jake asked, making me shiver hearing the nickname. This was the first time I had heard him say 'Ames' and in my personal opinion, I like it.

"I'm looking for my case. I left in on my desk, right here!" I answered, placing my finger hard on the top of the desk.

"Are you signaling that I took your case?" Jake wondered.

"No, I'm just saying that you most likely moved it." I sneered, looking crossly over at him.

"I didn't touch your case. Which one is it? Lost fat guy?" He joked.

"No, it's the two-hundred dollar bank robbery. It's the biggest one I've got."

"Oh, sorry Amy, I accidentally picked that one up and dropped it in my trash." Scully interrupted, looking innocent.

"Oh, Scully! Not again!"I sighed, before Jake did his usual smirk, which signaled he was going to do something immature.

"'Oh, Scully! Not again!' Title of your sex tape." Jake joked, not looking up from his computer.

"Oh! C'mon, Jake!" I shouted, as Scully awkwardly moved back toward his desk.

"It was right there!" He smiled, as I tried to hide my own laughter.

"It's not funny." I sighed, knowing deep down, that it was a perfect Jake movement, that actually made me laugh.
