Harry sucked on his dummy as he played with his blocks. His daddy was at work and would be home within a few minutes now. Harry listened closely to hear the front door open and close.

Eventually, it did. Harry crawled towards the front door and giggled when he saw Louis hanging up his coat. Louis heard it and looked at Harry. He flashed him a fake smile, which went unnoticed by the little.

''Daddy!'' Harry squealed when Louis picked him up from the floor, carrying him to the living room. He plopped down on the couch, cuddling Harry close to his chest.

The older lad needed comfort, but he knew Harry couldn't quite give that when he was in this headspace. He rubbed his eyes and sighed.

''So, how was your day, baby boy.'' He asked. Harry perked up in Louis' lap and pulled his dummy out of his mouth.

''I build a house with my blocks, daddy! I just need people to live in the city.'' Harry said and scratched his chin with his finger as if he was thinking about it. Louis smiled and kissed his nose with a heavy heart.

"L-let's buy some tomorrow then, yeah?" He croaked out.

''How was work then, daddy?'' Harry asked innocently. Louis bit his lip to prevent himself from crying, but it was already too late. He gently pushed Harry next to him on the couch and wiped his teary eyes.

Something shifted in Harry's eyes. He shook his head, bouncing his curls in the process.

Louis looked at him and sniffled. That was enough for Harry to throw away his pacifier and grab Louis his face in his hands. ''Lou? What's wrong?'' He asked, no longer in his headspace.

Louis placed his larger hands on Harry's. ''It's nothing, princess.'' He told the boy, his lip betraying him by trembling fiercely. Harry groaned.

''Louis.''

''Baby, it's okay. I just wish that I could colour out too sometimes, you know?'' Harry cocked his head to the side.

''What do you mean?'' Louis waved his hands in the air.

''Harry, stop. As a dominant, I am supposed to help you with your problems and troubles, not give you more. It's not how this works.'' He snapped. Harry huffed and crossed his arms over his chest.

''Louis William Tomlinson. When I first came here, you told me we were equal to each other. Neither of us stood above the other, that's still a thing today. Plus, I'm not only your submissive, but I'm also your boyfriend. I care about you and I want to be there for you. So, as your boyfriend, I demand you to tell me what's wrong.'' Harry told his dominant firmly.

Louis stared at the boy for a second before completely breaking down.

Harry gasped when Louis collapsed forwards into his arms. The man cried against his stomach and wrapped his strong arms around Harry's waist. Harry combed his fingers through his hair and hushed him quietly.

He wanted to know what was going on. It scared him to see Louis like this when he didn't know what happened.

''Lou... please tell me what's wrong?'' He whispered in Louis his ear.

Louis sat up straight, wiping his wet eyes.

''Oh, Harry...'' He sighed, taking the younger boy's hands.

''One of my closest friends died last night. She killed herself. The pressure at work, her husband cheating on her, money problems, lack of friends and attention. She wasn't happy anymore, H. And it just really fucking hurts.'' Louis cried out.
