The next morning, Harry was still little. Liam and Niall were coming over that day, so Louis was a tad bit stressed about Harry being a little. Sure, Liam and Niall knew about this life style, but still...
Loui paced back and forth, thinking how to keep Harry busy. Harry loved to draw, but he already drew yesterday. Louis bit his lip when he felt a tug at his sleeve.
''Daddy?'' Harry asked with questioning eyes. Louis picked the smaller boy up and carried him to the nursery since the boy was still wearing his pyjamas.
''Okay, Uncle Ni and uncle Li are coming over somewhere this this.'' Harry pouted and little tears formed in his eyes, but Louis didn't see since he was looking in Harry's closet.
Louis dressed Harry up in the clothes he chose and cooed at the little boy.
''You look so beautiful, lovely. I could just eat you up.'' Louis kissed Harry's nose and helped him up.
''Which stuffie is gonna join you today then?'' Louis asked, taking Harry's hand and walking to the closet with stuffies.
Harry hummed and cocked his head to the side, scanning all his stuffies. His eyes landed on a blue bunny. He looked at his outfit and then at the bunny and gasped. He pointed at the bunny and Louis chuckled.
''It goes with your outfit, doesn't it.'' Harry nodded and hugged the stuffie close as soon as Louis gave it to him.
Louis took Harry's small hand in his bigger one and led them down stairs, making sure Harry didn't fall down the stairs. Harry ran outside. It was pretty warm and Louis' garden was big so there was enough for Harry to do.
Louis grabbed his book and sat down in his chair outside to that he could keep an eye on Harry.
Harry discovered a butterfly and he was now chasing it. He giggled and squealed, being a good boy by not trying to catch the butterfly but simply follow it to a flower and admire its beauty.
But that's just Harry.
Louis looked at the boy for a while before focussing on his book. Every time when he flipped a page he would look at Harry to see if he was doing okay. It wasn't necessary though, because Harry wasn't one to disobey quickly.
Louis was just reading an exciting part when Harry yelled. ''Daddy!''
Louis looked up at Harry and saw the boy running towards him while pointing at something with his hands. Louis smiled for a second, but it fell when he saw Harry was nearing the pool at a rapid pace.
''Harry no, you'll-'' Louis winced when he saw Harry slip over the wet tiles next to the pool and drop to his knees.
''Fall...'' Louis sighed. He jumped up and ran towards a crying Harry. Big tears rolled down the little's cheeks as Louis picked him up. The first thing the dominant noticed was the blood on Harry's knees and elbow.
Louis kissed Harry's head and brought them inside to the kitchen to take care of Harry's injuries.
Harry cried into his hands and Louis gently placed him on the counter. He inspected Harry's bloody knees and kissed his thighs softly.
''Oh darling...'' Louis said, grabbing a washcloth to clean the boy's wounds.
''It hurts, daddy.'' The younger sobbed. Louis' heart ached at the sight of his love crying. He kissed Harry's lips gently and pressed the cloth against his knee. Harry winced and cried out, trying to push Louis' hands away.
