"SHE LOOKS SO PERFECT STANDING THERE IN MY AMERICAN APPAREL UNDERWEAR, AND I KNOW NOW THAT IM SO DOWN"

Ugh, stupid alarm. Who ever made alarm clocks must get a lot of hate from sleepy teenagers. Like me.

"Eliza, get off your butt and get ready for school," my mom said as she turned off my alarm.

"Uhhhmmmghhh," I replied with my face in the pillow.

As soon as she left I was about to go back to sleep when I heard,"Really, green eyes? 5 Seconds Of Summer? I'm disappointed, I thought you would have better taste in music. And better hair in the morning."

I am gonna kill this kid.

As soon as I thought about what he said about my hair, I dove back under the covers of my bed. No matter how much I don't care about what this kid thinks of me, I don't want him to see my birds nest of hair in the morning.

"For your information, 5SOS is the greatest band in the history of the world."

"Yea, right. The greatest band ever is Green Day, get your facts straight," he said.

"Ugh, whatever, go away I need to get dressed," I said. I did not need a repeat of what happened last night.

As soon as he left, I changed into my school uniform and went downstairs to have a quick breakfast.

"Morning, sweetheart," my mom said tiredly.

"Morning." I poured some cereal and milk into a little bowl and started eating.

"Do you want to go with me to see the new next door neighbors when you get hone from school?" she asked me. The last thing I wanted to do was see Trevor again.

"No, I think I'm just going to relax today." After everything that happened yesterday, I just want to come home, eat nutella, and take a nap.

When I was done with my breakfast, I went back upstairs, grabbed my backpack, and waited at the bus stop.

"Well I didn't think I would be seeing you here."

Ugh. I would know that annoying, high pitched, and fake voice anywhere. I turned around and stared at the girl who has been my enemy since 4th grade

"What do you want, Delany?" I said.

"I saw your new neighbor."

"Yea, so?"

"I want him."

What is wrong with this girl? If she wanted Trevor, she could defiantly have him.

"Whatever," I said. I don't really care what this girl says or thinks anymore.

She rolled her eyes at me as the bus came to a halt in front of us. I stepped on and took a seat next to my best friend, Melissa, but everyone called her Mel.

"Heyyyyyy," she greeted me like always.

"Heyyyyyy," I said back.

"Did you get the pre-calc homework for last night? I totally forgot about it because I was with Adam. A look of panic quickly crossed my face. I totally forgot to do it, and if Mel was the only person I talk to on this bus and she also forgot it, I was dead.

"Oh my golly gum bells, I forgot to do it, too. Just kill me now."

"Oh my golly gum bells?" she said, mocking me, "Is that some kind of slang?"

"Oh shut up, you know you love it," I said jokingly. Mel and I have been best friends since 6th grade, and we act like were sisters.

"You're right, I just can't resist golly gum bells." As we pulled up to school, I began to worry about the homework.
