We spent the night here at this office building, I slept in the corner. It was uncomfortable and cold, my knife was clenched in my fist and I barely stayed asleep. I woke up at every snore, creak, movement, even my own breathing.

Next morning I ordered everyone to pack up cause we weren't staying here. I reloaded my gun, threw my bag over my shoulder and watched Gabriel and Ross unblock the front doors.

We slowly walked out, making sure the area was safe before walking along the side walk. The town was quiet once again, meaning the herd was hiding around somewhere and I didn't want to find out where. We needed to get out of this town as soon as possible.

There was a slight bang coming from one of the alleys, as if someone opened a large metal door. All at once our guns where aimed and in our hands, but our feet were frozen in place.

Minutes passed and nothing happened, so I started to walk but slower. We reached the alley, a door was open but no one was there. I frowned in confusion, deciding to just keep walking. I didn't want to be one of those stupid people in movies that go towards the noise or something like that.

We kept on walking, our destination was towards the woods, until we heard running footsteps. Our guns were out again and we all aimed, looking around us and waiting as the footsteps got closer. It sounded like one person running, but we didn't know where.

In front of me, a figure ran out of the alley, back facing us and looking around. My jaw dropped once as I saw who it was when he turned around.

"Jonny!" I smiled and ran towards him, hugging him tight and sighing in relief.

"Jonny? How the hell are you alive? You fell off the roof." Lillian said as we let go and she hugged him.

"The fire escape. I fell on the fire ecsape, ran up to the nearest room in the building and stayed there." He smiled.

"Wait you were in the same building as us?" Ross frowned.

"I guess. I left early in the morning, went out to the roof and looked around for you guys. The walkers headed down that way." He pointed behind us. "And so I was checking around in buildings. I knew you guys were close."

"Well shit, it's awesome to have you back." Lillian sighed.

I nod and hugged him again, not able to keep the smile off my face. I finally let go again, Jonny going back towards Gabriel and I started to walk again.

Jonny and Gabriel talked quietly to each other as we went, reaching a small neighborhood. I looked at all the small houses lined up next to each other and across from others. They all looked nice and put together, it looked like the world before all this hell.

"We should check the houses for food." Cody said.

My stomach growled at the mention of food, I don't remember the last time I ate. "That's a good idea. Split up, the houses are small." I called and headed to a nearby house.

I had my knife ready as I walked through it, no walkers. No food. I went to the house next door, same thing. Three more houses down and all I found was an old orange peel. These houses were empty, didn't even look raided, they were just empty.

I went into another house, my knife in my pocket this time since I haven't found a single walker. I looked around, found nothing but heard a voice in the room. An actually voice. There was a survivor.

I slowly walked toward the door, hand on the door knob as I slowly turned it and opened the door. There, sitting by the window was Kenton and Tina.

"You made it?" I raised an eye brow at them and smiled.

"You guys did too I see." She smiled as well and Kenton ran to me, hugging me tight.
