God Fury - Derek

I was out studying with a group of people I went to college with since we had a group project. We never got to actually working on the project because one of the members of the group brought alcohol and soon many more people from school turned up and it turned into a party.

Within a few hours I had drunk way too much to make any rational ideas, so when I grabbed my phone and pushed the last call made I thought I was calling Stiles.

When someone answered the phone I began talking "Hey Sti, I may" you had to stop so a giggle could escape "Need you to pick me up from the study place. See you when you get me" and I hung up.

When I heard the beep of a car horn I grabbed my bag and left getting into the familiar looking car and since your brain wasn't picking up on things I thought I had gotten into one of the teens cars so I began drunkenly talking "I wonder if he would ever love me. I don't think he will, he's more for loving no one it hurts less I should know. I hate seeing him in pain or when we thought he died from the alphas. He doesn't even look at me like he did with Miss Blake or Braeden. What do you think? Do you think Derry loves me?"

When no one replied I decided to look out the passenger window to watch trees go by but as I started to feel like vomiting I said "Stop I need to puke" and as the car stopped I just opened the door popping my head out to vomit onto the ground before closing the door and passing out.

When I woke the next morning I looked around the room not recognising it which caused me to mutter an "Oh no" but when I looked on the bedside table I discovered pain killers and water. Upon taking them I slowly got out of the bed I was sleeping in to reveal I wasn't in the clothes I was wearing yesterday instead I was wearing an old looking basketball jersey and when I looked closer I noticed it had Hale written on it with the number 4 on it. When I back tracked my mind to high school I remembered seeing it. When I remembered which Hale wore it I screamed "Derek get your werewolf butt up here and explain what happened and why I woke not only in your bed but also why I'm in your old jersey" by the time I finished he was at my side staring at me.

He began explaining "Well you called me instead of Stiles last night. I picked you up but you threw up which explains the jersey and you were in no state to be left alone so I let you sleep here."

"I didn't do or say anything embarrassing did I?"

"You did throw up out the car door but other than that nope"

"Oh thank the heavens"

"I made you breakfast though and called your college and told them you weren't well so you technically have a free day kind of"

"We will talk about the kind of free day later because I absolutely need food I didn't eat at the party"

"Then come on then, I'll also make you some coffee"

As we walked downstairs I tried to remember last night but only slightly remembered the start of the party. As we ate I talked about how college was going. After breakfast and two coffees later the loft door opened revealing the teenagers to me.

I spoke facing Derek "This is the kind of free day, there's a new supernatural threat and as a mythology student you think I could help"

"Yep" was all Derek said

I sat down on the chair at the dining table "Tell me about the victim"

"Where are seven as of now" Stiles speaks first.

Scott's phone goes off and when he reads it he sighs "It's gone up to nine"

"Do you have the files with you?" I asked

"In the jeep and Argent will bring the other ones" Scott said heading the the door.

"Go help get them up here Derek" I said grabbing my mythology textbook out before seeing Lydia walk in with leggings in her arms.

When the boys went to get the files, Lydia threw the leggings at me top put on and when I did she sat beside me with the Argent Bestiary. When the boys came back they placed the boxes on the floor and pulled the files out.

"First Victim?" I asked

"I call them Spider" Stiles announced handing me the case file.

"I followed the scent, it lead to a house with children and from what I heard from inside the victim is married and has two young boys." Scott said sadly.

"Second victim was a teenage werewolf who was just out for a run" Derek said handing it to me.

"Third was a college professor from your school. He died from a heart attack caused by fear" Lydia said flicking through the file.

"Fourth was a body lying in the middle of the road surrounded by fire but they weren't burnt" Scott said.

I was handed a file and when I looked at it I was confused "Victim five was a friend of mine at college never drank alcohol but drunk to death on wine" I said.

When the sliding door opened, attention turn to it "Don't worry guys it's just me I have the two other files" Chris said walking to the table.

"We just finished victim five"

"Okay victim six was a hunter who was covered in silver and partly burned and victim seven was a banshee and died from a combination which can be classed as malpractice to Eichen house" Chris said.

I nodded and Scott spoke again "Victim eight drowned and victim nine was hit by lightening"

"Four of those could be natural" I announced "But ill look anyway"

As Lydia and I flicked through the books I looked up shocked and slammed the book shut to hide.

"Y/N what's wrong?" Lydia asked following you.

"Nope I'm not involved no way am I getting anymore involved"

"Just come show us whats wrong"

"I need a book" I said running back to my school bag and handing Derek the book

"Percy Jackson?" He asked.

"Greek gods. We have Greek Gods attacking earth" Stiles said "Oh my god Greek Gods are attacking us."

I walked to my mythology book and opened it up "We have had Athena, Artemis, Hypnos, Hades, Dionysus, Hephaestus, Apollo, Poseidon and Zeus" I said pointing to each one.
"So expect more?"

"Yeah and we cant stop them" Lydia said.

I walked to the kitchen and put coffee in my mug while thinking over last night again but this time I came up with it. I left my mug on the bench and ran at Derek hitting his chest.

"You didn't say that I announced my love to you unknowingly" once I were finished I kneed him in the crouch before sitting on the couch while everyone laughed.
