Another day, a new adventure.
Update, I still don't have new friends witch is totally fine with me. Of course if I meet someone new though I wouldn't be an ass to them. It's defiantly not lady like. I'm not the type of girl to be really lady like though, just having manners is all you'll get from me.
Earlier I found out there was a library and small cafe not that far away from here. Meaning like 3 miles from here. I'll just have my mom take me since she has a job interview around noon and it's currently 9:41am.
I dragged myself out of bed to get ready. Let me just tell ya, that shower I took was very necessary. Now for the outfit!
As i looked through my closet I knew that now was the time to change it up a bit. White denim overall shorts that were ripped at the bottom, burnt orange crop top, black hat, jewelry, and white vans.
Now it's face and hair. For my hair I just did some beach wave curls and for makeup, it was just my every day look. Maskara, concealer, and chapstick.
I walked over to my full body mirror and looked at myself closely. My eyes started to water so I quickly looked away and smiled. Walking over to my bed I grabbed my phone and some money.
It was now 11:55, perfect timing. Taking myself down stairs with my light brown purse on my shoulder that had all my stuff in there, I stopped when I reached the bottom step. Feeling two pairs of eyes looked at me I knew it was my mother and father.
"You look absolutely beautiful darling." My mother complimented me smiling like a fool. "I completely agree, Ed." Father agreeingly said. Ed was the nickname he gave me when I was five. If you looked at the spelling it would look as if your saying Ed Sheearns first name. But it's pronounced Ede, the e at the end is silent.
"Thank you both. Mom do you think you could maybe drop me off at a library that's like 3 miles from here while your on your way to the interview?" I asked hoping she would say yes. "Of course. Just make sure you stay safe alright?" She spoke standing up from the white living room couch. "Got it." I replied.
"Bye dad, Love you." I said hugging my dad before heading out the door with my mom. "Bye bye Ed, love you too!" He shouted before i closed the front door.
The drive to the library began and me and my mom talked a little bit. "So what do you plan on doin'." She said keeping her eyes on the road. "Probably explore the library and then go to this cafe across the street from it." I replied smiling. She glanced at me and then smiled back.
We arrived at the library and I hugged my mom and said goodbye before getting out of the car and watched her drive away.
Swiftly pushing open the pine green door with a small window to look inside, I almost felt myself from smile ear to ear. My eyes were prancing around the spacious building filled with the hard book covers, fragile paper on the inside.
"Welcome!" The young woman spoke from behind the wooden counter. I smiled at her as she returned the polite gesture. My mind let my body carry me through the small isle. It was like it was in slow motion. My had softly brushed across the books that were to the side of me. A couple books caught my attention making me snatch them from off the rack.
When I got back to the young lady at the front I had figured out that they were going out of business so she just gave me the books for free. She was a very nice lady. She seemed to be in her mid twentys but I could be wrong. It's sad to see that a quite place like this where you could relax and read a book, or make a bit of small talk with someone, or just to get things off your mind is going down. I feel like we need more things like this. Such a shame.
As I walked back onto the sidewalk I took a deep breath and smiled looking at my books. I carefully shoved them in my bag and headed towards the small cafe. I couldn't help but to feel a pair of eyes on me though as I crossed the street almost a quarter way there. Brushing it off as I walked through the glass doors a little jingle came from the bell indicating someone had entered the small place.
My eyes glew up. I was memorized by this place. Its defiantly gonna be one of my favorite places to go just whenever. Snapping out of my thoughts I took my order and got an iced vanilla latte. Let me tell you those are my go to's everytime so if this is hella good than i'm DEFINITELY comimg back here.
A teenage boy, somewhat around my age maybe, handed me my drink. He had brown hair, almost like Zach's which made me smile thinking about him, and bright blue eyes. "Thank you." I said grabbing my drink. He nodded slightly and went back to putting his apron on.
He was pretty cute, but not as cute as Zach. Yes, yes, yes I know. I'm admitting my "undinying love" for him. But I feel like we get closer and closer to each other each time we talk. It's clichè I know. Its facts tho!
After about an hour of reading one of my new books and drinking my coffee, which was HELLA BOMB BY THE WAY, I decided that it was time to go back home. Gathering up all my stuff together I, again, felt a pair of eyes on me all the way in till I got outside.
Reaching for my phone phone in my bag I planned to call my dad to come pick me up. I then realized that it was a good day to walk home. I still had time plus I would get some excursize along the way.
I checked the time on my phone "2:28" is what it read. Now the journey begins.
About a little less that an hour and I'm finally home. "Im home!" I yelled letting my voice echo in the house. There was no response. I figured everyone was just out somewhere doing something. Welp...........
NAP TIME BITCHES!!
