How Perfect

   I would consider myself a normal girl of the twenty first century. I am popular, graceful, pretty, and have secrets. like any normal person does, I have obsessions like: cats, neatness, food, and anime. I am the popular girl, so nobody can find out I like anime or girls. Yup I am bisexual ; which means I like both genders.
  
   People don't usually put bi people as popular and being popular is getting me through high school. I don't really have real friends. Except this one girl. Her name is Mey-Rin ; she has cute short red hair and big round glasses. I call her Mey, she is super clumsy and she makes messes a lot because of that.
  
   I have a small crush on her. Make that a HUGE crush. I have no idea of she is into girls or not. Even if she is I doubt she likes me that way.

   Were at my house, studying. "What were the two bombs called that were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki," Mey asks me holding her note book and sitting on my spiny chair. I lay, stomach down, on my bed. Rolling my eyes I say " Fat man and Little boy, give me a harder question."

   Mey nods and starts flipping through her journal. She stops and points at something. "How about this one," I look curiously at her, tilting my head "will you go on a date with me?" she asks with a massive blush.

   "EEEEEEEEEEEEEK!" I scream while I fall off my bed. "Are you serious?" I ask while getting up. Mey nods "EEEEEEEEEK YES YES YES!" I scream "did I mention YES?!" I get up and hug her so tight.

   "Can't br ea th."

   "I am so sorry!" I let her go. I back up and fall onto my bed. "Did you just fall?" Mey asks me. "Yeah, that isn't like me huh," I ask and giggle. I perk up real fast "When is the date?"

   "I was thinking tomorrow (Saterday), at my place we can Netflix and eat, at 7," Met says "we can make it a sleepover date if you  want we already do stuff like that so if you don't want to do it that's fine and you know what to where becau-" She kept rambling so I grabbed her by the shoulders.

   "That sounds perfect, a sleepover date it is then," I say smiling. We finish up studying then Mey goes home. I start to convince my parents to let me go over to her house on such a late notice, I succeed. I go to bed early and sleep in so I can stay up all night with her watching movies. I wake up at noon and do stupid stuff for a while.

   I start to pick out outfits, we usually wear leggings and a sweatshirt or something to do with sleepwear. I pick out a fairy tail sweat shirt and short legging shorts. then I pack a bag consisting of a hair brush, tooth brush, face wash, phone charger, and a short black night gown.

   It is 6:58, it's not like I have to drive an hour to her house. In fact she lives across the street. I finish watching a Youtube video, 7:03. Time to go, I grab my bag and say bye to my parents.

   I head over to her house and see the door is unlocked. I enter and say in a loud voice "Mey, I'm here!" I hear a scream and then a crash. I run into the kitchen to see she had tripped over a stool and broke a glass cup.

   "I am so sorry I didn't mean to scare you," I say helping her up. "You didn't, I am just clumsy," She says getting up. I grab the broom and clean it up. Mey then drags me to the living room.

   There is a anime I never seen before on the TV. Violet Evergarden. "I thought you might like this, it is about a girl who was is a war and comes out of it wanting to know what love is," Mey says. "Sounds fun, how many episodes?" I ask. "13 and there is a cliffhanger at the end, so there is a season 2 coming out," She says in a wavy tone.

   We watch the 25 minute episodes, all of them. It is around 12:30 am, Mey is already asleep. She is scrunched up on the couch, how she always sleeps, her head on my lap. I play with her hair and eventually fall asleep myself.

   But before I fall asleep I say, "How perfect."
