~A/N. Okay guys I just REALLY want to say thank you for reading my story, all the votes and everyone adding this story to my reading list. I don't think you guys know how much that truly means to me. My first story had 81 chapters and 1k reads. This story has 8 parts and 2k reads, that's makes me melt because I feel like my writing and added plot is getting better, so honestly thank you guys sooo much. ~

Oscar walked up to the door and knocked, I seen the door swing open and Jamal shriek, then slam it shut, "why do they do that" Oscar hissed, I heard police sirens outside and the door opened again "where's Cesar" Oscar asked "he. didn't. show. yet" Jamal shivered breathing between each word. I walked into the house, Ruby and Jasmine were standing a few feet from the door looking terrified, I smile and went straight to Ruby's old room and lightly knocked, "no Jasmine" I heard Monse whine, I creaked it opened and showed my head, "oh now she shows" Olivia laughed walking to the door and pulling me in, "I got busy, it has something to do with My parents" I told them trying to keep the topic away from Cesar. "What happened" Monse asked "it's just, they might be extending their trip, not that I don't want to be here but I just really want to see them, but I don't think they even realize" I lied yet poured out my real feelings, "I'm sorry Liyah" Monse said wrapping her arms around me "yeah, my parents can't be here, but yours just don't want to" Olivia pitied me "way to rub it in" I joked wiping away sad eyes "I'm sorry, I always say the wrong thing" she whined "it's cool, but let me hear about your families" I said, sad family talk is far from boy especially Cesar.

After talking about talking about Olivia's parents and Monse's mom leaving her, I guess they just got tired of being sad and went straight to love interest, "so you got your eye on anyone" Olivia asked, "uh not really" Monse said I looked over and smiled a bit at her "actually there's this one guy" Monse added I gasped a little bit "do tell" Olivia asked, I felt my heart beating in my head "he was just from summer camp" Monse said, and I felt my heart stop "okay what's stopping you from being with him" Olivia asked "it's just the entire dynamic with the group, me and the guys been together since fourth grade and I don't want us to break apart" Monse explained, I gotta keep Cesar's promise but right now my girl needs me, "you can't keep worrying about what everyone is going to think, if the group can stay together through Cesar and the Santos then you guys can make it through anything" I told her "wait you're saying none of them have ever had a girlfriend" Olivia asked, please don't step too close, "Cesar once in sixth grade but we don't really talk about that stuff" Monse told her, maybe they'll back Olivia up from telling about the kiss, "Ruby" I asked "oh god he definitely needs one to unwind" Monse added "maybe they think the same about you" Olivia added "burn" I joked "I'm just saying that you over think to much" Olivia assured "it's because I don't have anyone to talk this stuff or with" Monse sighed "okay well now you've got Aaliyah and I" Olivia told her. "Okay well take me off the hot seat, anyone you interested in" Monse asked "I don't kiss and tell" Olivia smiled, oh god this is bad "you kissed someone" Monse boomed.

The door swung open and Jamal stuck his head in "the roads on lock down" he told us, saving the day "we know" Monse said "okay well there's also no snacks" he told us "and Oscar's in the bathroom and he's not coming out soon" he added "why's Cesar's bother here" Olivia asked "Olivia, Cesar I know nothing" Jamal started to panic, not even trying to make it less obvious that he knew, "Oscar drove me here" I told her "woah he's bad news, you know that right" Monse stared "he's also like twenty so don't imply anything" I told her "oh it's funny that you think he cares" Monse told me, "wanna play a game" Jamal asked "if we do will you leave us alone" Monse yelled at him, he nodded vigorously.

We all walked outside of the room, Jamal ran to the A/C to cool down, "Jamal don't turn it up so high or you'll cut the power" Ruby warned him, "I'm trying to regulate my body temperature" Jamal said "well then go to the sink, fill it up with cold water and drown yourself" I yelled at him, "someone took homecoming to serious" Ruby mumbled under his breath, I squinted my eyes at him and sat down at the table with board games on it.
