QIANG didn't really like school, but she did like lunch. It was the most enjoyable time she had in the day, other than being with Zhengting.
"I underestimated that test, but next time I will get at least a C. Seriously, half of that shit wasn't even on the study guide and I'm sure we didn't even learn that quadratic blah," Wenjun said to Qiang as the two of them walked towards their lunch table.
"Actually, we did learn it. You were on your phone doing God knows what," Qiang replied with a laugh. "If anything, you should've asked for help. I know Mr. Ono is boring and all people really want to talk to him about is anime, but he's pretty decent."
"He doesn't know how to teach. He's so monotone and boring that my brain aches. I never understood why people called him Mono-Ono until the first day of his class."
"I never said he could teach, but if you ask him during the test, he'll basically give you the answer," Qiang shook her head as she took a seat in her usual spot. Their table was in the back of the cafeteria in the corner. Qiang sat in front of the wall where Zhengting sat to her left and Wenjun to her right.
"Seriously? I could've passed if I just asked him?!"
"Yup," Qiang answered popping the p.
"Well, now I know how I'll be passing the next test," Wenjun shrugged with a happy smile after the slight disappointment.
The two of them began talking about their next period as everyone else had come to the table. The last on to arrive was Zhengting who without a doubt probably dropped Tzuyu off at her next period. At least that's what Qiang thought until she saw the couple holding hands and making their way to the table.
"What the hell is she doing here," Justin whispered across from Qiang as Chengcheng awkwardly ate his sandwich.
"Hey, guys," Zhengting smiles taking his seat beside Qiang as Tzuyu awkwardly stood watching the only other girl.
"Baby," Tzuyu said taking her eyes off the girl to look at her older boyfriend. "Let me sit on your lap."
"There's an empty seat right on the other side of him," Quanzhe pointed to the chair across from him. Tzuyu shot him a look that told him to shut up and he immediately casted his eyes away, giving Qiang a sorry look.
"Okay...I guess," Zhengting replied scooting his chair back a little before she wrapped an arm around his neck and sat on his lap, her body facing Qiang who avoided looking at them.
"What the fuck," Xinchun muttered with a slight laugh.
"So, Rose. I was thinking after school we should go to the library to work on-"
"Babe, you were supposed to help me study for my Korean test after school," Tzuyu cut Zhengting off.
"Actually, I-"
"I'm sure she doesn't mind. Right, Qiang," Tzuyu asked turning her attention to the girl.
Qiang was actually getting irritated with Tzuyu. This wasn't knew what she was doing, but she was going the extra mile by sitting on Zhengting's lap like that. Tzuyu cut class a lot to have lunch with her boyfriend, but doing this she must really want him away from Qiang.
Zeren shook his head at Qiang, trying to tell her not to, but she ignored him.
"Sure thing," Qiang smiled.

"Why'd you let her get away like that? She always does that shit to you," Wenjun frowned as he drove her home since he ended up being the one to study after school with her.
"I know, I know. But I didn't want Jungjung to worry about me," Qiang replied with a sigh. "He already does a bunch of things for me so why should I keep him from the girl he loves?"
"Uhh because you're his best friend and he loves you too," Wenjun shook his head keeping his eyes on the road.
"He loves her more."
"I may suck at math, but you're an idiot."
