QIANG woke up with a smile on her face as she sat up in bed just as her first alarm had rung. She thought about her time with Chengxiao, Minghao, and Jun. It was fun hanging out with them, they all ended up just talking in the café about the two boys' lives in Korea. Qiang remembered how Chengxiao would leave to go there sometimes. From all the stories they told her, she too wanted to go to Korea someday although it wouldn't be any time soon.
Sadly, Qiang knew she wouldn't see the three in a while since Chengxiao lived on the other side of town in a different school district.
The girl quickly got out of bed and did her regular routine. Afterwards, she made her way down the stairs and made eggs, bacon, and even pancakes.
When Zhengting entered the house using his spare key, he was surprised to see the girl sitting by herself listening to music and eating.
"Hey, jungjung," she smiled seeing him. He noticed she seemed happier today, probably got to sleep early last night, he thought.
"Hey, is Aunt Shan home," he asked looking around, but the girl shook her head. "...you made breakfast? It's Wednesday...my day."
"I know," Qiang nodded rapidly as she stood, finished with her food. "I woke up earlier so I decided to make it for us. I'll make breakfast tomorrow too. No need to worry."
"Oh...okay," Zhengting muttered watching her got to the sink as he took a seat. She placed a plate full of food in front of him before doing her dishes.
She was happily humming as she did them which wasn't like Qiang. Nothing about today seemed like her, but Zhengting shrugged letting it go.
He liked seeing Qiang happy. It was his favorite sight.

"You seem a little happy today...did Zhengting-ge and the devil break up," Wenjun asked her as they sat in their third period math class.
Mr. Ono was trying to teach some new math formula, but he was getting confused himself on what he was doing. Of course, this happened often which made most of his students like Wenjun and Qiang pay attention to anything but him.
"They didn't break up. I'm just happy," she whispered pretending to write notes to make Mr. Ono feel a little better about his teachings.
"Sure," he nodded not believing her and he had ever right to. Ever since Zhengting started dating Tzuyu, which was about a year and a half ago, Qiang hadn't been so happy since most of Zhengting's time belonged to his girlfriend. "You're basically glowing today. I bet you five bucks someone is going to ask you what skin products you've been using."
"I think you're over exaggerating," she replied. "Now pay attention before you fail."
As class went on, Zhengting and Tzuyu came to her mind. She had been so happy in the morning she had forgotten Tzuyu even existed. It's funny because she had known Tzuyu basically her whole life, although Tzuyu was younger than her the girl had always picked on her. She guess it was easy since Qiang was pretty lenient and easy to push around.
Qiang was a nice person and usually shut up about things that bothered her. If it really got to her she would show it, but she didn't like drawing attention in that way.
Qiang was so lost in thought about things that when the school bell rung, she didn't even hear it.
"Qiang," Wenjun poked her cheek, drawing her attention. "It's lunch."
"Oh, my bad," she sat straight and quickly packed her things into her school bag before the two left the classroom.
"I'm sorry," Wenjun suddenly said as they neared the loud lunch room. When Qiang looked at him confused he continued. "About remind you about Zhengting-ge and Tzuyu. I watched you during class and it was like your light was fading."
"Don't worry about it," she smiled and the two of them made their way to the table. For some reason, the lunch room seemed louder than usual. It was like everyone was screaming for attention today.
Qiang smiled when she saw their table full of her friends. The only ones missing were her and Wenjun.
"Ang. Ge," Quanzhe smiled seeing them and waving them over. She matched his smile, but before she could make her way over a hand grabbed onto hers.
"I've been looking for you."
Qiang looked to the person who held her hand and saw a familiar face that had a beautiful smile. "Jun? What are you doing here?"
Zhengting watched as Qiang was talking to the new guy, Junhui. He was in his Korean class and had been the talk of the class due to his stunningly good looks. Junhui's friend, Minghao had also been in the class, but he wasn't around now.
He must have the same lunch as Tzuyu, Zhengting thought as Wenjun came to sit.
"Who's that," Xinchun nudged his head towards Qiang's direction.
"That's one of the new kids, Junhui. He's a really cool guy. I met him when Yanchen was giving him and the other new guy, Minghao a tour around the school. You know, I told you about them the other day," Zeren answered just as Qiang smiled at something Junhui said.
"Why's he holding her hand like that," Chengcheng pointed just as Qiang moved her hand from his. The two of them made their way over to the group.
"Hey, guys. This is my friend, Jun," Qiang told them. They blinked at her, friend, they thought.
"Hey," Jun smiled.
"You know him," Justin asked pointing a finger up at the older boy. "How do you know him?"
"We met at-" Jun started, but Qiang quickly covered his mouth with her hand. He raised an eyebrow at her and the others stared at her in shock.
"I ran into him at the mall," she replied moving her hand away. She ignored the funny looks the others gave her, but noticed Zhengting avoiding them. "Anyways, let's have lunch."
