"So, you and that Junhui guy seem close," Zhengting said to Qiang as the two of them laid on her bed watching tv. Tzuyu had after school activities today so she couldn't hang out with him.
"Not really. I just know him, that's it," she shrugged her shoulders and tried to pay attention to the movie, but Zhengting kept shifting in the bed.
"Do you...like him," Zhengting asked looking to her, she felt his eyes on her and met his gaze.
"I barely know him so I can't say," she replied. "He's really nice guy though."
"Yeah, well, he was flirting with you a lot so of course he was being nice," Zhengting stated, a little annoyed, but Qiang didn't want to push. She thought it was because he'd rather hang out with Tzuyu then her since he'd gone straight to her class to walk with her when lunch had ended. Jun ended up walking her to class even though she should've probably walked him.
Qiang knew that Jun had been flirting with her and he made her heart flutter because he was the first boy to do so, but she still longed for Zhengting. She didn't want to give up on him.
"I heard he and Minghao are having a party on the weekend. We should go," Qiang said, looking back to the television. Jun had invited her to he and Minghao's welcome home party. The two of them bought a house together and they had invited the whole school, but Jun personally invited her.
"Rose, You don't like parties," Zhengting murmured. He used to try to convince Qiang that they should have a birthday party since their birthdays were on the same day, but she never said yes. Zhengting didn't like parties either, but he thought it would be cool for them to share one. Instead the two of them would have Harry Potter movie marathons.
"Yeah, but I want to go to at least one before we graduate," Qiang replied, eyes flickering over to him. His eyebrows were furrowed, confused over her suddenly wanting to attend the party.
Maybe I'm right. Maybe she does like him...that's good for her, Zhengting thought then nodded his head to her. "Okay, we'll go."
"Really?!"
"Yeah, but if I say we're leaving, we're leaving."

"Remind me again why we're here," Wenjun said as he and Qiang walked in the mall, window shopping.
"The party," she simply said looking around.
"Okay, so why am I here?"
"I need you to help me find something to wear. I don't know what kind of clothes people wear to parties," she stated.
"Just throw on a shirt and some shorts," Wenjun shrugged his shoulders and she groaned looking up at the tall boy. He stopped and looked down at the girl who was now pouting up at him. "Are you sure Tingting agreed to going to the party? You know he doesn't even like going to those and neither do you."
"Well, this is our last year. We should go to at least one, don't you think?"
"I guess," he sighed and she nodded eagerly, before pivoting and walking forward for him to follow. "If this is the only party you'll ever be going to maybe you should go all out."
"Why?"
"Because knowing you, you'll probably never do this again. Not unless you end up dating me or that Junhui guy and we definitely know that Ting-ge isn't going to be partying," Wenjun replied to her question in a duh tone.
"You mostly go to kid parties to do your yo-yo tricks."
"Are you bashing on my yo-yo skills," Wenjun paused, putting a hand over his heart. Qiang glanced over to him and laughed.
"No, you're awesome! I'm just stating the facts."
"Okay, Rosie. Anyways, you going to go all out or what?"
"You going to help me then?" Wenjun grabbed her wrist and made her whip around, he then pulled her in the other direction. "I'll take that as a yes."
