Chapter 10

Kate's POV

After few minutes of the ride, Natalie stopped the car and parked it near the store. I was nervous and my hand were trembling even though I was trying to be mad. But deep inside I hoped it all was just abad dream. Tha Changbin hadn't lie and I was too afraid too face the truth.

''You said something about police, right? I don't want to risk that they will take my car and tell my parents where I was," Natalie explained turning off the engine.

''So we have to go there from here?" I asked not pleased with the idea of walking through the forest at such an hour.

All three of us get out of the car and followed Natalie. The sky was clear and dark. There were no clouds and not so many lanterns so the stars were well visible.

We were walking through a forest using our phone flashlights to illuminate the path since there was nothing to be seen without them. The moon light was beautiful but too weak.

It was almost 9PM and we finally heard some machine's sounds. I started to get nervous because I didn't really think I wanted to see it. Leaving in a lie seemed to be easier than facing the truth. But I must have seen it all with my own eyes. Catch him red handed.

Finally I saw it. There were a lot of people. More than I expected. There were boys all in black and girls in definitely too short skirts and too small blouses. We three all had jeans and hoodies so we looked quite different. We definitely looked like intruders and I was afraid that we would draw too much attention. Nonetheless we came deeper into the crowd. Some gave us that dirty looks some were confused but we just wanted to find my brother and Changbin.

''Today is my lucky day!" I heard someone saying behind us and I exactly knew who was the owner of the voice.

''Natalie, babe, did you come to see me?" Xukun asked coming closer to Natalie and putting his hand around her waist. At first she seemed surprised by his action but she quickly regained herself and disgust appeared on her face.

Oh, boy, you don't know what you're getting yourself into...

''I'm not you're babe and take these dirty hands of me," she said twisting his arm and pushing him on the ground with a proud smirk on her face. The scene made the corner of my mouth rise up a bit in amusement.

''She's really something..." said another voice. We looked who it was and it was Chengcheng with the rest of them.

''Xinchun!" said Camille and jumped in his arms. He was shocked to see her but he quickly smiled however he soon pulled away and looked at her angrily.

''I told you not to come. It's not a good place for you," he scolded her a bit while Natalie and I were standing there a bit confused not knowing what to do.

''I know..but they commanded me," she pouted to him and pointed her finger at me and Natalie while we just rolled our eyes. Even though we kinda dragged her here but she could have always said no.

Meanwhile Xukun got up from the ground and brush the dust off proudly.

''Okay babe," Natalie rolled her eyes again as Xukun spoke up. ''I was going to be nice with you but you're not cooperating," he said a bit angry by what she had done. However something was telling me that he actually enjoyed that. One corner of his mouth slightly rised up.

''Okay listen there boy...We're here to see Changbin, that's all, so where he is?" Natalie asked sassily showing them who was the queen there even though they probably had realised already that she wasn't the girl to mess with.

''He should be somewhere there," said Xinchun out of nowhere pointing at the building behind us and gaining a deadly glare from Xukun.

''Thank you!" Natalie said kindly with a smile and dragged me to that place. We left Camille with Xinchun as she would have just complained if we had taken her with us. We could let her be. I thought that nothing bad would happen if we do so.
