Chapter 11

Jisung's POV

''I'll do it," Natalie said. I froze in one place out of surprise.

Is she that brave or that stupid?

I tried to get back to my senses but I couldn't believe her words. As if I had misheard something but unfortunately I had heard everything right. Xukun smirked proud of himself and I felt a strong need to kill him right at the spot.

''No, Kate is my girlfriend," said Changbin standing in front of Xukun. I didn't know if he had done that for Natalie or Kate however I couldn't agree more with him.

''But Changbinnie...I want Natalie," Xukun said bending down a bit as if he had been talking to a child and smiled with a face kindness. Changbin stood there confidently and calmly as if Xukun's words hadn't affected him at all. I wanted to say something but Natalie was faster.

''I know how to drive a car. Don't worry. I took Kate here and it's partly my fault...so I have to help her now," she said confidently giving me a reassuring smile. She looked right into Xukun's eyes with no fear as if he had been challenging him not the other way around.

''Exactly and you have a car in your team so...you can lend her," Xukun added with a smirk on his face staring back at Natalie calmly. What was his plan? I had no idea however I didn't like that at all.

Wow...she's really responsible and irresponsible at the same time. I know it's quite her fault but it's also mine and I just can't be mad at her. What is more I can't see her getting hurt but I know that she won't give up...like Xukun...

''Okay but let me ride with her. She doesn't know the route," I stated. It was true thought, because she really didn't know but it wasn't the main reason. I just wanted to make sure nothing would happen and to reassure her somehow. I thought that maybe my presence would make her feel better. Especially when I was experienced and Natalie must have been scared. She may had a driver license but it wasn't enough for something like that.

''Okay deal," said Xukun after a moment of thinking. I tried not to show how relief I was because of his positive answer.

''So where's Kate?" asked Natalie directly crossing her arms in front of her chest.

She indeed is straightforward.

''She's in Yanjun's car. I'll give you the keys when I see Natalie in the car. I mean after the race," he smirked at us holding keys in his hand. I knew we didn't have other choice and there was no point in fighting face to face especially when there was so many people out there.

Changbin and Chan got the car ready. Natalie and I got inside the machine. I unconsciously took Natalie's hand into mine and looked at her softly.

''Are you sure?" I asked her giving her chance to change her mind. I thought that maybe she acted without thinking. Her decision was reckless and maybe there was something else we could do to take Kate back. He wouldn't have kidnapped her, right? The police would be automatically after him however that would take a lot more time then one race.

''Yes, I am," she was trying to hide her fear but I could feel how tensed she was. I squeezed her hand and gave her a smile for her to know that she wasn't alone. That I was there to help her and keep her company.

The girl appeared in front of the cars holding a shawl. Natalie got ready. Then the girl let go of the shawl and when it met with the ground cars rushed off. Natalie and Xukun were riding next to each other. She was surprisingly a really good driver.

I had thought that she would be too scared to drive so fast however she was calmer than I had expected. As if she had been born for that.

I was giving her hints. I had shown her how the route looks like on the map but to make sure everything would be okay I was telling her anyway even thought she seemed to ignore me completely. We were coming closer to the road where was a space only for one car. That meant that somebody would need to let go but Natalie wasn't gonna slow down. Neither Xukun.
