JACQUELINE WAS HIDING FROM THE PRINCIPAL. She was in the front of the school and had been there for about ten minutes.

She knew he was already in his office, and wouldn't be bothered to get up and walk outside to get her. He also had to talk to the new girl, so Jacqueline was in the clear, for now.

She walked down the steps, planning on leaving the school like she had been doing every day for the past two weeks.

After her dad dropped her off at school, Jacqueline would wait awhile at the front, to make sure Flutie wasn't going to catch her, then she would leave campus.

She'd been doing it on and off since freshman year, and there was absolutely no doubt that Flutie had caught onto what she had been doing, so she had to be extra careful, especially with the stunt she pulled a couple days ago with his car.

From the corner of her eye, she saw her friends Jesse and Xander, with their friend Willow. She liked Willow, but they didn't really have anything in common, so they didn't get to know each other, the two girls were more like acquaintances than friends.

Xander was the first one of the pair to notice Jacqueline. "Yo, Jack!" he called out, waving her over. She quickly made her way over to them.

Xander immediately threw his arm over her shoulder. "How's my favorite shorty?"

She scowled, "I'm not short, I'm five six."

"Well you're shorter than me, so that makes you short." she rolled her eyes and opened her mouth to talk, but she was interrupted by someone screaming.

"Oh, look! There she is Principal Flutie!" Cordelia Chase's loud voice echoed out through the air. Jacqueline looked over at her, seeing Cordelia pointing the principle in her direction.

"Shit." Quickly, she wrapped her arms around Xanders' waist, attempting to camouflage herself.

Xander's arm was now resting against the back of her neck. Jesse stood in front of the two, trying to hide Jacqueline from Flutie's beady eyes.

"What'd you do this time?" Xander asked, his mouth slightly muffled by the top of her head.

"I haven't gone to single class in like two weeks." she tightened her arms around his waist, "And I also might've spray painted a gigantic dick on Flutie's car door."

Xander let out an impressed chuckle, "My little vandal." a couple feet away, Willow stood, wishing it was her under Xander's arm.

"He's looking around, god, is he that stupid? You aren't hiding that well." Xander scoffed, shaking his head.

"Maybe you should just go talk to him." Willow said, "The longer you wait, the greater the punishment will be."

"But if I don't talk to him, I won't have any punishment." Jacqueline countered.

Willow shook her head, "You can't hide from him forever."

Jacquline frowned, she hated to admit it, but Willow was kind of right. She groaned and leaned her head into Xander's chest, "Ugh, I hate you."

Willow softly smiled, she liked steering Jacquline in the right direction, it gave her a sense of accomplishment when she could get the wild girl to do something.

"But I'm not going up to him, he has to come up to me," she said, unwrapping her arms from Xander's waist. Xander slightly frowned at the loss of contact, before his usual goofy look was back on his face.

Jesse slightly stepped away from the dark haired girl, still standing in front of her as she sat a bench.

Xander sat next to her, slinging his arm around her shoulder. Jacquline unconsciously leaned into his body, an act that Willow and Jesse didn't miss.

Jesse shot Willow a grin and gestured towards the pair, wiggling his eyebrows up and down in a suggestive manner. Willow did her best to seem excited, but she wasn't sure if she did it correctly.

Xander watched as people passed by them, his eyes catching onto the Principal, who had finally seen Jacqueline, and was heading right towards them. "Heads up."

At the sound of his warning, Jacqueline looked up, "God, he walks so slow." she rolled her eyes, "My grandma would look like she's running a marathon next to him."

"Isn't your grandma dead?" Jesse questioned.

"Yeah."

They didn't say any after that, they just watched Principal Flutie slowly walk over to them. When he eventually made it over to the four teens, he was slightly out of breath. "You-" he pointed at Jacqueline, who sarcastically pointed at herself, "Me?"

He narrowed his eyes at her, "I have been waiting for days to talk to you."

Jacqueline rolled her eyes and stood up from the bench, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm coming."

She patted Jesse on the shoulder as she passed, "See ya later." she walked away with the Principal, Xander watching as she disappeared into the front doors.

Inside the school, she was sat next to some blonde girl while Flutie talked to the secretary. Jacqueline looked the girl up and down, taking in her preppy attire, she rolled her eyes and looked away.

The girl beside her cleared her throat after a few minutes of silence, "Hi."

Jacqueline looked at her with a blank look on her face and turned away. She cleared her throat again, "I'm Buffy."

Jacqueline rolled her eyes and looked at the blonde girl with a sarcastic smile on her face, "And I don't care."

She furrowed her eyebrows and turned away from Jacqueline with a slight frown. Jacqueline put her back towards the blonde and rested her feet on the chairs in front of her. Flutie came a minute later and took the blonde into his office.

About halfway through their conversation, Jacqueline got bored and opened the door a crack. The girl was talking, and Jacqueline could hear her clearly, "It was full of vampi- asbestos."

Her eyebrows shot up, was she about to say vampires? Jacqueline shook her head and scoffed, there was no way that girl was a vampire hunter, she looked like she could barely snap a pen in half, let alone kill a vampire.

A few minutes later the girl came out, and Jacqueline went in. She plopped down onto the chair and rolled her eyes, "Let's get this over with."
