I walked up to Jeremy when class let out and leaned on him lazily. He instantly put an arm around me and grabbed my bag from me slinging it over his shoulder. We always hung out by the vending machines right before lunch and met our friends there.
"Everyone better hurry up and get here because I'm starving!" I grumbled making him laugh.
"Amber you're ALWAYS starving." He teased.
"I love food, so what?!" I said rolling my eyes at him.
"Yea well if you don't stop eating the way you do you're gonna get fat."
"Am not! Shut up Jeremy."
He laughed and shrugged his shoulders. "Alright, when it happens don't expect me to marry you when no one else will."
"Trust me Jeremy I wouldn't want to marry you if you were the last guy on earth." I said annoyed.
"Ouch! Why do you gotta be so mean?! I'm just looking out for you."
"You started it. You called me fat." I said simply with a shrug of my shoulder.
"I didn't call you fat, I said you're gonna get fat. There's a difference."
"Whatever you don't use the word fat in a sentence to ANY girl you GERM. Because no matter what you're always calling her fat even if you didn't intend to just because you said it in a sentence to her. So there!"
"Don't call me Germ! And OH! I didn't know that." He complained.
I laughed and Angie walked up to us. "Hey love birds!" She said cheerfully.
"Hey." "Hey." We both said lazily. She rolled her eyes and then turned to me.
"So did you have any classes with him yet?" She asked eagerly with eyes wide and her brows lifted. Jeremy sighed rolling his eyes.
"Yes WE did. So what." He said annoyed. Angie ignored him giving him a nasty look before turning back to me.
"Yea we had him in first period." I answered her.
"So what'd you think? Hot isn't he?!"
He's totally hot! I thought to myself.
"Yea he's okay." I said feigning interest. Angie rolled her eyes and shook her head.
"You're just saying that cause Germ is here."
"Stop calling me Germ!" He complained again. Angie and I laughed and then Jeremy's friends walked up.
"Hey pretty mama, how you doin?" Gil said smacking Angie's ass.
"Ow! Quit it Gil!" She said as she turned away from his reach. Yea Gil had a major crush on Angie and she hated him. I thought it was cute so I giggled at the silly picture they made as they argued. Him about how he couldn't help himself because she looked so sexy. And her about how no girl will ever like him because he was a disgusting pervert. She had a point.
We were about to walk to the cafeteria when Nathan walked by us. He noticed me and gave me a half smile as he passed us. I smiled back and looked down shyly feeling a blush creeping up my face and Angie eeeked. Yea she actually eeeked!
Jeremy rolled his eyes and we walked to the cafeteria. "Great! I didn't know you could actually blush Ambs." He whispered to me sounding peeved as we walked. I shrugged, "I think he's kinda cute."
Jeremy sighed and walked ahead of me clearly upset. I didn't care though. I'm sure it's just because he hates Nathan and I didn't really understand why.
