It was a Friday night in my college dorm room. Normally on Friday night's me and my boyfriend and the squad go out and party and do whatever but final exams are coming up for everyone and laffayete has the flu, so we all agreed to just stay in for the night.
"Ok so what is the square root of 50076-" I was cut of studying to myself as I feel my boyfriend's arms come around my waste. "Alexxxx take a breakk youv been studying for like everr " says Thomas grabbing my study cards from me.
"Hey!" I say reaching for my cards but failing "I want to be in high honors classes next year and I can't do that unless I get a perfect score" I say putting my serious face on.
"Ok fine at least let me help you study" says Thomas. I give him one of those are you serious you hate math why would you ever want to do that kind of looks. "Fine. But we're STUDYING " I say finally getting my note cards back.
"Ok what is the algebraic expression for Y when You-" I was cut of yet again "Ughhhhhhhh this is boring..... OH! I have a better idea let's play a game" says Thomose coming closer to me.
"I have to study!" I say giving the answer to my question in my head. "Yah Yah I know how about I quiz you and evertime you get a question right I get to kiss You" says Thomas shuffling through the cards.
I was thinking about how I wouldn't mind that at all but would never let him know that but I did need to study....
"Ok fine" I said laughing a little.
"Yay! He said as he picked out a question for me. "Ok. 24x2+25x−47ax−2=−8x−3−53ax−2 is true for all values of x≠2a, where a is a constant." He said. I thought about the answer for a second. "-3" I said.
He flipped over the card and smiled.
"Correct!" He said drawing a check Mark In the air with his finger.
I laughed at how childish my boyfriend was just as he leaned in and kissed me.
"I love You " he said pushing a piece of hair out of my face.
"I love you to" I said blushing I'm sure.
"OK NEXT QUESTION!" Said Thomas throwing the question I got correct across the floor.
