It was another year at Hogwarts. This was my second year at Hogwarts and I have already gotten comfortable with how this place works and runs.
My names Alex. I'm a slitherin along with my friend Aaron while my other two best friends were in Gryffindor.
I always felt kinda empty and isolated most of the time at this school. But that all changed during one class of defence against spell
I was battling Thomas which I had no problem with. He cast multiple spells that were good. For him. But I was no armature iv been practicing spells for that past 2 years and it was my best class and subject.
Just as I was about to send him of the platform and finish him of this kid comes running into the room. He had curly brown hair with freckles all over his face. He was in hufflepuff judging by his robe.
"I-im so sorry i-i well this is my first year and I-i um couldn't find the class....." he said looking down.
"Ah yes the new on mr. John Laurens please join your classmates and don't be late again" said professor snape as John went over were the Schuler sisters were.
Just then Thomas waved his wand and cast a spell on me. I flew back and my head hit the ground. For a moment it didn't hurt as I looked over and thought I saw John smile at me.
As the year went on me and John became best friends. He always went to my games and cheered for slitherin despite being on hufflepuff.
We were so different. He was so sweet and charming and just plain adorable while I was cold plain and simple. But mabey that's why we were so good together.
"Alex! Guess what!" Said John coming from behind me as I came out of postion class. "What" i said smiling down at his adorblae face. "Someone asked me to the dance!" Said John smiling. Someone asked him to the dance? I should have known. The dance was tonight and I don't know.. I assumed we were going together but I didn't ask him and he didn't ask me...
"Oh John that's great. I ACUALLY got asked to the dance to." I said trailing of.
"Oh that's cool.. mabey I'll see you there...." said John. "Yah mabey.." I said walking away to my next class.
As I was getting ready for the dance I didn't put on anything to special on. Just a dress shirt and some nice pants.
I walked in with Eliza. I told her my situation and she said she would love to be my fake date. She was a good friend.
As I walked into the dance I saw John... But he was sitting on the stairs. Crying. Even so he looked beautiful. He had on a flowey pink dress with his hair in a fancy up due. I looked over at Eliza. "go" she said smiling and going over to her sisters.
"Hey" I said sitting down beside John as he wipped his tears. "Oh hey Alex.. yah my date kinda left me to dance with some girl so..." he said looking like he was about to cry again. "What happend to your date.." he said. "Oh Uh yah I um kinda asked Eliza to be my fake date cause I thought you would be here with a date and I well I don't know..." I said looking out at all the couples slow dancing.
"Wait what?!" He said standing up. "Yah I know it's wierd but i-" "the only reason I came here with that guy was because I thought you already had a date" said John. Just then we both started laughing probally looking like fools.
"So you want to dance... " I said holding out my hand. "I would love to" said John. And we danced. In our Corner bye the stairs. And bye the defence against spells room.❤
