truthfully, luke is actually pretty tolerable. we've hung out like 5 times since mcdonalds, and it hasn't been terrible? he's stopped being a weirdo and asking to sleep with me, so that's a plus.

"so, why the zoo?" i ask as we feed some ducks. "i don't know.. my mom and dad used to bring me to the zoo every year for my birthday and one year, it just stopped. i never asked why but i've always missed it, you know?" he says. "hm, my parents took me to museums on my birthday. they insisted i always learned something. they highly valued education." i lightly laugh.

"are they still together?" he asks, tossing bread crumbs at a group of ducks. "are anybodys parents still together?" i question. "only the lucky ducks." he smiles. "get it? we're feeding ducks." he laughs. "you are literally the worst." i attempt to hide my amusement.

"so, luke, tell me.. what exactly do you enjoy doing? besides being annoying." i ask, as we stroll through the zoo's butterfly garden. "first of all, bitch," he says with the sassiest tone, pointing a finger at me. "i'm trying to be nice and not annoy you, so give me some credit." he laughs. i raise my eyebrow and nod in response.
