Maria's P.O.V
It had been two months since that day in his office and everything seemed to be going well. Raelynn started school this winter but I wasn't sure how I felt about her going off to school when the others still had a while to go but then again, Jazlynn and Jaelynn started next winter. I thought about wanting to put her in when they started but I didn't want her to be behind in school either. It was a hard chose that I had to make. And then there was Bridget she has been doing so renovations to the house, I didn't know what the living room was going to look like next. Dylan seemed to be in good spirits when I asked about the renovations he told me he was doing it to keep her happy.
I wake up in a good mood, the sun shine's through the white cartons that hang on my windows. It had been two months and I could feel the changes inside of me. I had not yet said anything to anyone but today was the day I will tell Dylan.
Slipping into a long dress I head toward his office knowing that's where he'll be. I step in while he's on the phone.
"Are you sure" his saying sounding concerned "Alright if you need me call bye" he looks up at me "Hello"
"Hey" I go over sitting my ass on his desk "Everything ok"
"Nothing for you to worry about" he smiles
"You sure"
"My brother is having an issue that's all"
"Oh, well maybe I can cheer you up"
"You're welcome to try"
"I'm pregnant"
His eyes go down to my stomach then back up "You sure"
"Yes, I am a wolf"
He smiles "I'll get you an appointment"
"Ok"
"This is great," he says picking the phone back up, I get up heading for the door "Hey, Maria"
"Yeah," I ask stopping
"Let's keep this between you me and the doctor alright"
"Oh, that's fine"
"Maybe if we keep it to our selves we won't have any bad luck" he explains
I nod "Let me know when the appointment is"
"Alright," he already has the phone to his ear as I step out of the office.
I take the girls outside that day sitting on the steps as they play in the garden. It was a beautiful day, not so cold and not too hot. The guards were not that far from us, I could see one of them out of the corner of my eye. Since the day on the beach, Dylan had put more guards on us. There where still officers out there looking for the man that shot at us and Dylan had one of the guards watching as the cooks fixed our food at all times.
I felt safe but then again I felt safe them times too and look what happened. I look out at the girls as they giggle running around the front yard the door opens behind me but I don't turn knowing who it is.
"Look's like they are having fun," Dylan says and I hear his smile
"Yes, it feels good to see them happy"
"I got us an appointment this afternoon with the doctor"
"Us" I turn looking up at him
"Yes, I am going with you"
