Why does it hurt so much?
I wish I had never loved
To this extent
That now I am ruined
My heart is shattered to bits
I loved him to bits.
Why does it hurt so bad?
I wish I had never trusted
To this extent
That now it's hard
To trust anyone
To love anyone.
Why do I still feel this way?
After all that he has done
After driving a knife through me
It's getting difficult
to keep it within
And hide it behind a smile.
Why do I still love him?
Oh holy, why do I still love him?
