In Which Lisa Teaches People Fusion

"Yeah, so, it's just a matter of how well you get along with people."

"So like... friends, family, and-" Lisa nods, cutting Caroline off.

"Yeah, the better a bond you have with them, the better the fusion goes. Sometimes it's as easy as a hug, sometimes it's a dance. Y'know, like me and Lill."

Caroline nods, frowning thoughtfully, looking over her shoulder. "So... hold on!" She turns around and runs off. Lisa laughs softly as she realizes who Caroline is running at.

"CATCH ME, YA DORK!" Li looks up and yelps as the short girl rushes at him.

She jumps and, as she knew, he catches her. A flash of light blinds those nearby, Lisa squeaking excitedly as she moves closer.

Once the light had faded, A new person stood, confused and swaying. "Woaaahh, that was weird as heck." Shaggy brown and black hair covered their forehead, Green and amber eyes blinked in surprise and tanned hands patted at the baggy blue shirt and dark jeans they wore.

"HOLY FUCK, LISA!" They screeched, somewhere between excitement and confusion. The light flashed again and left Li holding Caroline, the two gasping in surprise.

"Warn me next time, I need to like... prepare my mind." Li put Caroline down, laughing breathlessly. "That was fucking AWESOME though!"

"RIGHT!?" Caroline beamed, bouncing on her heels. "We gotta do that again, we were so cool!"

"Who the hell even were we??" Both of their eyes lit up with an shared excited grin.

"Caroli!"

Lisa laughs as the two start gushing about the fusion, only stopping to look over her shoulder. "You should try it. You two'd fuse pretty easy." Seto scoffs and shakes his head.

"Not likely."

"Why not?" Lisa fakes a pout, betrayed only by the smile trying to draw across her lips. "You're best friends 'n all that jazz. Either her or Mokuba would be a great fusion partner for you."

"I'm not interested in this "fusion" crap." Seto crosses his arms, looking past Lisa to watch Caroline and Li trying to fuse again, but laughing every time they almost did.

"So help me if it's the same shit about you not believing in magic, I'll deck ya, here 'n now." Lisa squinted and huffed, putting her hands on her hips. "You've first hand seen the Mobians! The god damn Saiyans! Fuck, my everything should be enough proo-"

"I don't need someone in my head." He shut off her ramblings, knowing she'd go on for 20 minutes if he let her. "It's enough when people think they know what's going on in my head, I don't need someone to literally be in my head."

Lisa huffed and crossed her arms over her chest, squinting up at the other. "Oh, it's that. You wouldn't let Caroline, your best friend, or Mokuba, your brother, in your head. Seriously?"

They glared at each other for a moment before Lisa sighed, throwing her arms up. "I don't know why I even bother with you! Even after all the crap we've been through, you can't even pretend to be nice to me!"

"This is nice."

Lisa groaned and ran her hands through her hair. "You are such a pain in the ass!"

Seto sighed and shook his head again. "Well, I'm leaving then if you're going to be a child about it."

"Fine, leave! Maybe I'll actually keep from going bald after all!"

They turned and walked their separate ways, Lisa grumbling and tugging at her hair while Seto looked only more annoyed than usual.

Lisa sighed as she sunk into the kitchen chair. She could sense a few others on the Island and she was exhausted from home. Her world just drained her energy so coming here... such a breath of fresh air!
