"Yugo!" Lisa called, walking though the woods. "Yugooo! Come on, your dad says you gotta come help with Chibi!" She looked up, hoping to see the familiar blue glow of his portals, but nothing. There was nothing.

"Yugoo!" She sighed and put her hands on her hips. He had to be somewhere nearby, right? "YUUUGOOOO!"

"Up here!" His voice was faint from distance, but she still managed to hear him from the forest floor. Looking up through the branches, she spotted the boy up in one of the higher branches.

She huffed, noting how downcast he sounded. She floated up slowly, crossing her arms. A deep sigh and she stopped beside the branch he was perched on.

High above all the other trees, Yugo stared out at the landscape with a sad look in his eyes, shoulders drooped and leaning against the tree's trunk. The ears of his hat laid flat on the sides of his head and he kept wringing his hands.

"Yugo?" She sat on the branch carefully, looking at the boy- no, he was a grown man by human standards, right? About 20 years old now and still the same as the day they'd met.

"Do you think hes okay?" He didn't look at her, but she knew who he meant.

"I'm sure he's fine, he can take care of himself." She paused and turned to face him. "Are you okay?"

He sighed and let his legs dangle beneath him, sitting on the branch heavily. Thankfully, he was lighter than her so the branch didn't rock very much. The Eliatrope shrugged, hugging himself. "Dunno."

Lisa sighed and looked out at the landscape. "...It's nice up here."

Yugo nodded, still looking downcast. She knew he was beating himself up over what happened, even now. It'd been almost a month since Ogrest's defeat and Yugo still couldn't get over Adamai's disappearance. It made her upset that there wasn't more she could offer the other for comfort, but it truly was something he had to deal with on his own.

But she'd be damned if she didn't do everything she could to be there with him every step of the way.

Her arm found its way around his shoulders and pulled Yugo closer to lean against him in some weird half hug. "Hey. Don't worry. We'll find him. I promise." He nodded and she swore she saw tears in his eyes. "And we'll bring him home." A teasing grin spread across her face as she poked his cheek. "Even if I gotta drag him back, kickin' and screamin'!" A small laugh slipped from the younger as he expression brightened, even if only a little.

"There's the goof I know!" She pulled him into a full hug, tickling his sides mercilessly.

"LISA!" Yugo squeaked, trying to hide his laughter as he squirmed to get free. "Lisa, no STOOOP!"

"NEVER! TICKLE GOD NEVER STOPS!" She cackled, pulling him closer to her chest to press her cheek to his forehead. "Don't worry so much, Yugo. Things always turn out well, have a little faith."

He sighed but smiled up at her despite himself. "Okay, okay, can you let me go now?"

"That's a big no-go my dude." She shook her head as dramatically as she could. "Yer old man wants you back with the youngin and authorized force!" She abruptly stood, bringing a surprised Yugo up with her. "And so- FORCE!"

She laughed as he squirmed and shouted, giggling between his words in some attempt to get her to release him.

"ONWARD!" She floated kinda slowly towards the village, still laughing as Yugo tried to get free, or at least climb up to her shoulder so he wasn't dangling by his waist from her arms.
