The light faded and they blinked. Where two had been, one now stood, confused and off guard.

'W-wait a sec!' Lisa's voice spoke in the fusion's head. 'S-seto! Oh my God, I'm sorry, I didn't mean- this-we-'

'Be quiet for a moment!' He snapped at her, the fusion taking a deep breath and closing their eyes. 'I'm figuring this out, hang on.'

'Wait... Did... did YOU cause the fusion?!'

'Yes. ... I think. I meant to.' They shook their head and huffed, crossing their arms. 'I thought fusion was becoming one in body AND mind, why can we still talk to each other?'

'It's something to do with this being the first time we've fused, so it might take a little while for the mind meld bit to happen. WE won't really notice, but, uh.... whoever we are will. It's a sign of the fusion stabilizing.' They took a deep breath and looked down at their self.

They looked relatively the same from before, though the felt... taller.

"Okay." They spoke softly, bringing their hands up to their face. "So.. what do we call ourself? ...Myself? Man, this always has to be the hardest part." They sighed, rubbing the bridge of their nose. "Okay, Lisa and Seto, how do we... I? Ugh, I'm going with we, that's easier for now. How do we make a name from Lisa and Seto?"

'Hmmm...'

'Caroline has suggested... Lito to me.'

'Leto? Like... Isn't that a Greek God or something?'

'No, I mean like the first to letters from your name and the last two in mine. That's usually how this works, right? Like... when Trunks and Goten fuse, they're Gotenks.'

"Fair enough.." The fusion mumbled, rubbing their chin now as they thought, eyes closed and nodding. "Lito... yeah, I like that." A small smile lit their features, looking rather happy with themself. "Okay, so what can we do, that's next."

'Not in my office, we ain't! There's irreplaceable paperwork in here that I need!'

'Hasn't stopped you from showing off in my office.'

'I can magic your paperwork back together if I mess stuff up with your stuff, mine can't. And mine has the balance of the entire multiverse hinging on it!'

'Fine, whatever, I'm not going out the front like this.'

'Nervous, are we?'

'I'm not... I'd rather not-'

'Dude, I'm teasing, chill. We'll go out the window in the room next door.'

The fusion flicked their coat tails with one hand and turned to leave the room. There was a moment of hesitance, but was quickly shook off as they exited Lisa's office.

Leto peeked into the next room, spotted the window over seeing the side of the house opposite the party and opened it. They leaned out, looked around, then nodded to themselves. 'Good, no one's out on this side.' They climbed out and floated gently down, smirking to themself and chuckling at how easily using their powers was at the moment.

They made their way down to the beach below the floating Island, somehow radiating a grace neither fusee seemed to have. They looked out at the ocean, admiring how it reflected the moonlight on its nearly glass-like surface.

Lito reached down, and un-tied their sneakers.

'Wait, why are we taking your shoes off?'
