3rd POV

Aomine sighed as he tried to calm down. He just broke up with his current boyfriend who was treating him like shit. At first he liked the vision of the master and pet relationship, but apparently they had different ideas about it. Aomine was a half panther, he had a tail and ears. Sometimes he had tendencies to act like a cat, for example he loved sleeping a lot. He really appreciated warm blanket and a cup of warm milk.

His ears perked up at the thought about milk. Aomine went to the kitchen and warmed some up. Then he poured it in the cup and went to the living room. He sat on the couch and wrapped the blanked around him. Then he turned the TV on and took a sip of the milk. He couldn't find anything worth watching so he decided to leave the sappy romantic comedy on. He couldn't believe he was actually watching something like that. It was completely not his style, but in this moment he couldn't help it. He remembered the times with his ex, the beginning was really good. He wiped the tears he felt on his cheeks, it wasn't worth crying over that. He sipped on his milk and watched the movie.

Time skip

Two months later Aomine felt better. He promised to himself that he won't get in another relationship again. He was turning down everybody, who tried to hit on him. He was happy the way he was , after all he didn't have to bother with a possessive boyfriend who would argue with him about coming home an hour later than usually.

Aomine went to the café nearby. He just finished practice, and he felt like eating ice cream. He walked in and immediately made his way to the fridge. The girl behind the counter made the ice cream dessert out of the tastes he picked and handed it to him. Aomine sat down at the table and started eating. He hummed softly at the taste and stuffed his mouth fifth another spoon full of delicious treat.

Suddenly the door to the café opened again. It wasn't much of an interesting event, definitely more interesting was the fact that a very handsome man walked in. He also had a cat ears, that was mostly what caught Aomine's attention. He saw black stripes on his white ears. Aomine widened his eyes in disbelief, white tigers were very rare to see. The tiger had to feel the gazes of the other people, cause Aomine saw him flatten his ears. He bought a small cup of ice cream and scanned the place searching for the empty table. Aomine saw him getting more nervous when he noticed all of the tables were taken. Aomine smiled and motioned for him to join him. The white tiger walked up to him slowly and took the spot in front of the bluenette.

-Thanks. – he muttered.

-I'm Aomine Daiki. – said Aomine. – You?

-Y/n. – muttered Y/n. – Y/n L/n.

Aomine cursed himself for giving Y/n his number. Once he felt comfortable around Aomine he started talking more and turned out to be a good partner for a conversation. He was great listener and he didn't say stupid crap like others he talked to. Y/n called him the next day.

Time skip

Aomine and Y/n were nuzzling each other on the couch in the bluenette's house. They made it their little ritual to meet up on weekends and spend them together. Two big cats were cuddling on the couch watching a movie and occasionally sipped on the warm milk.

Y/n was thinking hard, trying to come up with the good way of telling Aomine about his feelings. He knew he was after hard break up and didn't want to be rejected.

-What's up with you? – asked Aomine. – You seem distant today.

-I'm fine. – said Y/n in response.

-Don't lie to me Y/n, I know something's wrong.

-Well...-hesitated the tiger. - ...I'm in love with someone, but I don't know how to confess.

Aomine felt a pang in his chest at his words. He knew he swore to never fall in love again but he couldn't help but fall for Y/n. He was perfect. Aomine decided he didn't want to lose Y/n completely so he figured out he should help.

-Let's practice it then. – he said. – Pretend you're confessing and we will prepare you for a big moment.

-Okay...- Y/n pulled away and took few seconds to calm his nerves. – When I first met you I was scared of getting hurt. You helped me and talked to me, I trusted you and that made our friendship bloom. But to me it's not friendship anymore, my feelings for you are far beyond friendship now. I love you.

-That...- started Aomine trying to hold back his tears. Only he could know how much he wanted these words to be addressed to him. -...was beautiful. Now say that to the one you love.

-I just did. – Aomine widened his eyes.

-What?

-You heard me. – said Y/n and pulled him close. – I love you.

Aomine didn't know what to say so he just squeezed Y/n tight in his arms and kissed his cheek.

-I love you too Y/n.
