The Wind Falls (Len Kagamine x Reader)

"Did you finish your sundae yet?"

(Y/n) looked at Rin, then back down to her empty bowl and nodded. The trio had reached the double-doors of the cafeteria and wanted to wait until after she finished the treat. All (Y/n) knew was that someone named Kaito (whom she's seen around school before)would steal it if she didn't.

Without another moment of hesitation, Rin used her free hand to grab (Y/n)'s and used her hip to open the doors, Len following closely behind. (Y/n) was led to a table of people she'd seen before, but didn't really know well. She knew Miku, but they were only acquaintances. As for the others, she knew the pink-haired one was Luka, the dark blue-haired one as Kaito, the one who would steal her sundae if she didn't eat it, the brunette was Meiko. There were three others there that she's seen but couldn't think of any names associated with their face.

Upon the trio's arrival, everyone stopped mid-conversation and looked up. Miku smiled.

"Rin-chan! You found Len-kun!" Her eyes wandered over to (Y/n). Her smile grew wider. "And you've met (Y/n)-chan!"

(Y/n) returned Miku's smile with a small one of her own while Rin nodded. "Len met her at the tree. Hey, is there any room for an extra person?"

Without any answer, Luka turned around and asked if she could use the empty seat at someone's table. For a moment they looked at her like she had just said something incomprehensible, then reluctantly let her take it. As Luka squeezed in the chair next to her, she shook her head and sighed. The way people acted towards others now extremely annoyed her. She looked back up at (Y/n) and smiled, gesturing to her that she sit, which she did.

Rin returned (Y/n)'s stuff to her and went to her seat, which was two chairs away. The gap in between was then occupied once Len sat down. He looked at her.

"I'll introduce you," he said with a small smile. "Everyone, this is (Y/n). (Y/n) (L/n)."

Everyone started complimenting her name and how pretty it was while (Y/n) just wondered why everyone thought that.

The rest of the group except for Miku, Rin and Len started introducing themselves. (Y/n) decided to let them, even though she knew most of them.

Luka looked at (Y/n). "I'm Luka."
"Luka's the mom friend!" Rin interrupted. Luka glared at her. "I am not."

She turned back to (Y/n). "I hope to get to know you well."

(Y/n) smiled. "Likewise," was her quiet reply.

"I'm Kaito," Mr. Imma-Steal-Your-Ice-Cream Guy said. "Nice to meet you!" His eyes immediately landed on the empty sundae bowl. "You... you had a sundae? But it's all gone now?" He looked at Len's tray. His bowl was empty, too. Kaito started to pout. "Len! You ate yours too?"

"For once," Len replied. "I get these for me, you know."

Meiko stretched her arm towards (Y/n). She was on the other side of Luka. "Don't mind Kaito. He knows he can get his own ice cream," she said with a smile. "I'm Meiko."

(Y/n) awkwardly look her hand, trying to not hit Luka with her own arm. While they shook hands, Kaito continued to pout about the ice cream.

The other three introduced themselves as Teto, Neru, and Haku.

Teto was similar to Miku personality-wise. She was both super nice and always smiling, and she had the most adorable red drills. She did have a tendency to call people stupid, though.

Neru was texting when introducing herself. She admitted that she was tsundere, and didn't really pay much attention to (Y/n). She apologized in advance for any hostility she gave her. (Y/n) understood. She could tell that Neru was an overall good person.
