Chapter 17/ Dad?

I have explaned the situation, with Clay, to Luna. We are taking a walk though the forest now. Not because we want to, trust me. Luna got a message from Magic High that enemies were there. They knew the spot-ons were there, but they don't know where in the forest. As me and Luna were walking we heard a noise. We look towards where it came from. We saw a man with a little girl.

     "Elle? What are you doing?" I noticed right away it was Elle dressed in all black. She was staring at us angrily.

     "Emily," she started softly, "you left me. Why didn't you come back?" She was creeping me out. I not sure what's she doing but trust me it's creepy.

     "Because I have to stay here. Elle you shouldn't be here." The slowly she turns towards the man next to her.

     "Daddy, punish Emily for leaving me all alone." That's when I remember the mans there.

     "That's right. Emily, dear, you shouldn't leave you little sister all alone." I stare at him blankly. I look towards Luna to see her reaction, which is the exact same as me.

     "Dad?" Luna tries reaching out to him as she says that. I stare at Luna with questions.

      "Yes, Luna. Come join me, my dear." I saw Luna walking towards him slowly. Then I realized I am the only one able to see the black powder surrounding him. I saw a black crown on his head. Other the his hands and face he had full black all over him. He almost look like he could be the king of spot-ons.

     "Emily?" He reaches his hand towards me. I then smell it. Since I'm the Wisher I can sense evil. Right now I smell spot-on all over him. It's not from killing them because when they are dead there smell dies.

     "You the king, aren't you. The king of spot-ons." He's kind eyes turn dark and he becomes angry.

     "My daughters, kill her." His voice darkens and his eyes lose any human life they had left in them. He transforms into pure evil creature. A black garment, that fades out at the bottom, surround him and he has black gloves on. He has black marks coming from his black eyes that look like lightning strikes. He looks like a nightmare.

I position myself in a battle stance ready. Luna came after me first. I didn't want to fight her but I didn't know what to do. I remember one spell I read. I try to think of it, but with Luna running at me I know I have little time. She reaches me and I don't know what to do so I start a random spell.

     I lift my wand and lightly pull it down while whispering "TURAIN" (pause).

The first thing I noticed was that Luna hovered in mid air while trying to jump at me. Next I saw a bird that was flying nearby frozen. As I look around I noticed that everything is frozen. It was as if time just stopped. Even a leaf was hovering of in between a tree and the ground.

     "What happened?" I open the spell book and flip thought the pages. I can't find the spell any where. "That's weird."

     "Not really." A familiar voice said. I turn around and see LenLista. I'm happy but confused to see her. "Every Wisher knew every spell. Even the spells most think don't exist."

     "What do you mean? I can do spells that don't exist?"

     "Not exactly. You know the legends book, right? Well there are people in there that had extraordinary powers. For example once there once was a person with spirit like powers. They could pause time, then their spirit would come out of their body. They could then talk with and see other spirits. No one could do what they did, except you. You just pause time and now you spirit is outside of you body." I turn around and, in horror, I see my body frozen in place.

     "So you saying I can do anything they legends did? I can have any powers they have? On top of that, I can see spirits?!?" My head is spinning trying to get a grip.

     "Yes. Also you can summon the legends back to this world. The book is supposed to stay with you at all times. Where is it?" She looks almost angry when she says that.

     "It's with the rest of my books back at the castle, why?" I see her slowly point point a finger at Elle with a angry look.

     "Are you sure?" I take my spirit over to Elle and in shock I see the legends in her hand behind her back.

     "Elle, why?" I barely whisper.
