My mom and I are sitting on the couch together later that afternoon. I thought it was the perfect time to ask all my questions. So I started with, "who was that girl, mom?" My mom took a second to think as if deciding to tell me or not. She breathed then started talking of everything she knows.

"That girl was Luna, Luna James. She is your older sister. She is five years older than you, but the reason you don't know her is that when you were born Granny Lucy took her to some higher level boarding school and I haven't seen her in tell today. The only thing I know is that Granny Lucy wanted me to read that legends book. When I finally told her I wasn't interested she whispers under her breath 'not her'. Other than that I don't have information for you."

Wow. My mom had a lot of information I didn't even think of. I just was wondering about the girl, Luna.

It's late at night but I can't sleep. I go to my bookshelf and pull that legends book out. The second I opened it and to my surprise it glowed and the light lifted off the book and formed into a cylinder shape. The light was too bright I had to close my eyes. The light dimmed then stop but I didn't open my eyes till I heard a soft noise of something hitting the book.

When my eyes were fully opened I saw a weird wooden cylinder shape with a point on the end. It took me a while but I found out what it was. It was a wand. For some reason I knew it was my wand. It was just something about it. I forced my hand down to try and pick it up but then a small force appeared and stopped me from touching it. I pull my hand back expecting some sort of pain but nothing happened. Something still told me it was mine but something else inside said I wasn't strong enough.

Right then and there a black creature appeared. "Hello," the creature started, "I am from the long family line of doubt and fear. The reason why I am so big is because you have a lot of doubts and fears. Also I can't let you be the most powerful being out there to destroy my family so I can't let you have that wand." When he finished I knew exactly what to do. I reach over to grab the wand. The barrier was still there but I didn't care. I pushed through it with all the strength I had and grab the wand. I felt so much stronger. Then the creature, just how he appeared, disappeared. I knew that battle wasn't over but this exhausting night was. I put the book up and the wand on my nightstand and went to sleep in my day clothes.
