"Moss Fur, Moss Fur!" Bright Light yelped as she ran into the clearing. The foxes around her stared in confusion at why she had come back running in and out of breath.

"I just got some awful news to tell you about the future that is going to happen if we keep following Ruby," she quivered with fear as Ice Tail came up to stand by her side. "CanyonRange should hear this too. I just had a vision and Mountain Heart gave me this vision. Ruby is a traitor and a Fox Killer who will twist her words just to get what she wants from other foxes. This path that she suggested is a trap if we keep going this way she will be able to have her Fox Killer friends attack us more easily without us knowing that they are there. All of the foxes on this journey will be killed. We have to go through that thick forest, to our left if we don't and if MountainRange's falls then it will be as if all of the Range's were never created so all the good that we have done it will be like it never happened."

The foxes looked there and giggled uncontrollably at Bright Light.

"That forest is too thick for the pups, pup mothers, and elders. The younger apprentices would have a lot of trouble too. There's more danger there anyway and plus if the Fox Killers wanted to hide anywhere it would be the most idle place."

"If we go our separate ways, it will be our downfall and you all now know what will happen if MountainRange goes down. We have to get together and form one Range like SunRange and defeat Ruby, but we will just do that to fight back against them. She is deceptive and will kill any fox who doesn't listen to her and if hurting you doesn't work she will kill pups and apprentices too," Bright Light told them shivering with the fear of the possible downfall of the two greatest Range's and the fact that her own pups lives were on the line.

"No, Bright Light. MountainRange mustn't fight or join any other Range's you can go and join SunRange if you please, but we will stand alone," Moss Fur snarled at Bright Light who put her ears back and backed up some from him.

"That is nonsense Moss Fur what she said makes sense," said Canyon Pelt. "We will fight together, but we cannot combine Range's. The enemy will have no problem stalking us, and we won't realize it with all the new foxes. We will fight together, but that's it as Bright Light said Moss Fur if we lose your Range it will all be over and you have to think don't have too much pride or it could be your downfall."

"He has a point and I would never want to put my Range at risk," Moss Fur stated.

"What's this all about?" asked Ruby as she came strolling back into the temporary camp.

"We are going to go through that thick forest instead of following you on this path," Moss Fur twitched his whiskers with amusement as Ruby curled her tail with apprehension.

"No, that's nonsense. The pups and elders will never make it through."

"The strong Survivors and Ranks will make a small path for them to cross."

" The Fox Killers live in those forests they are not safe," said Ruby.

"How come you know, so much about the Fox Killers they wouldn't have just told a prisoner all of their plans like that would they unless are you their leader?" Bright Light snapped at Ruby making both Range's caterwaul in fear that she would be right.

"I told you, I was captured by them once and if I told you I was their leader now what would you all have time to do about it?"

"So they told a prisoner everything about them and why would we tell you what we would do?" Bright Light retorted back unafraid that if there was any fox that Ruby would attack first that it would probably be her.

"No, they took me into that forest. I was lucky to escape. With a group that big, you'll never make it out alive especially since you have very little pups and young apprentices."
