"Please line up in an orderly queue!" one of the directors shouted, watching as bodyguards ushered ARMY into a single file as best they could.
"Uwah, I'm so excited," I whisper, repeatedly patting a beat out on the table and looking around with wide eyes. Today, tons of ARMY's had come to visit us for our fansigning event, showing up with banners and posters, even masks of the members' faces. A particular one caught my eye that showed Jin's face with a photoshopped tiara sitting atop his head, which made me laugh.
The line suddenly starts moving and, since we were seated eldest to youngest, Jin got to talk to the fan first. They all worked their way down, my heart slowly increasing as the space between me and the first fan decreased.
"Hello!" the girl chirped. She was relatively young, and looked about 16, although nowadays you can never tell anyone's age by looking at their porcelain faces.
"Hi there!" I reply enthusiastically. To tell the truth, I've always been nervous meeting ARMYs.
"You're Miso, right?" she continues with a small giggle. When I nod, her face lights up.
"And what's your name?" I ask cheerfully, a smile slowly growing on my face.
"Emily," the girl answers, sliding what looks like one of our albums towards me with a bashful grin. "I'm a really big fan, and you're definitely my bias!" Emily's voice was slightly hushed now, and I leaned in as if we were long-time best friends gossiping in the playground during break.
"Well of course," I whisper back. This merits a large smile on her face for me and I almost melt; are all our fans this adorable?
I quickly look down at the album - Dark & Wild - and allow myself a grin. "I love this album," I comment, signing the front. The girl's eyes light up as they follow the pen across the album cover, swirling into the lines that make up my signature.
This continues, each fan unique and different from the previous, each giving me a new spark of energy until I feel like I'm about to burst with electric sparks.
I turn to the side to see Jungkook swinging a delighted girl's hands side to side over the table singing a soft song, and start laughing when the girl places a pair of black silk bunny ears on his head. Jungkook turns to me with a grin, top teeth out as if mimicking an actual rabbit.
Further down the line, Taehyung has a pair of devil horns hidden in his hair and Jin has a fluffy halo floating above is head with the help of a small headband.
Before I can even start laughing at Yoongi's puzzled expression when a fan slides a pair of koala ears on his head, I feel something sliding onto my own head, and look up in surprise to see a young girl of around 10 grinning at me. She holds up a small mirror decorated with plastic jewels and kitten stickers for me to see my own reflection, which stares back at me, a new set of tartan bunny ears sticking out of my chocolate hair.
Seeing my confused face, the small girl bursts into peals of giggles, and, hearing the laughter, Jungkook spins around to see me slowly start grinning at the child.
"We match!" he exclaims, poking my bunny ears with a cautious finger.
Before the girl ran off to her mother, who was waiting patiently with a camera in hand next to the table, I could've sworn I heard her whisper "Mikook" under her breath after giving Jungkook and I wistful stares.
