"Rain im sorry" i said looking at her. She just rolled her eyes and continued to to do her hair. "Rain please talk to me" i said softly about to cry.

"Patience i trusted you. I warned you of the consequences that comes with certain actions and you just said fuck it huh?" She said looking at me.

"I know i just forgot i was so mad at him i couldn't just be goody to shoes anymore. I couldn't walk around here knowing the real behind closed doors and acting like its not STILL happening." I said as tears fell down my face.

"Patience. I want you to understand that i got this all planned out. Ive been had it down pack for years. I just have to wait on my opportunity to take it. I know your worried about me but im fi-" before she could finish she jetted to the bathroom to throw up.

I rubbed her back as she continued to throw up. "Week 4 now" i said faintly. "Thats a month. Im getting to far i have to do something about it, and i mean now" she said wiping her mouth and flushing the toilet.

"What you got planned?" I asked her. "Either the steps or a hammer." She said biting the side of her mouth.

"Hold up. Pause. Rain i know you cant have the baby but killing it in such way is horrible. Especially with a hammer what you gone do with that morha fucka?"
"I have no choice patience. If i start getting big and showing things are going to get worse between me Rj and ashanti"
"Nah rain you by yourself on that one that"
"Please patience. I need you."

I couldn't believe she wanted to kill the baby in such way. Its not the babys fault and it didn't deserve it at all. "What in the fuck is a hammer for?" I asked again with a confused mug look. "To hit the stomach just in case the steps don't work. I seen it on the Internet." She said. Causing me to throw my arms in the air to signal "wtf"

"Awe hell naw rain you on some billy and miranda type shit. Im not contributing in none of that shit. Thats for crazy people" i said standing up and making my way to the door.

"Patience please" she said as her eyes started to water. I hated Cassidy so much for putting me in this predicament. I loved rain but this idea was by far the most fucked up one. "Come on lets it do it before they return" i said helping her off the floor.

[6 years later]

"Wake up patience" ashanti said slightly shaking me out of my sleep. "You got a job interview today come on get dressed and ready" she said before leaving the room.

I got up and grabbed a suitable outfit for my interview. I got into the shower and did my hygiene. I wand curled my hair and put in some Diamond earrings.

"I wish you the best sis" rain said hugging me. "Thanks sus love you" i replied hugging her back.

I went downstairs to retrieve my breakfast before leaving. "Unun we'll pick you up something on the way you cant be late" she said grabbing her keys off the counter and walking outside. I followed behind her but i stopped mid step when i heard rain yell "no boys Pat and fuck a friend" she yelled from the kitchen. I couldn't help but to laugh at her goofiness.

The car ride to the café was quiet. I had no words for ashanti and im pretty sure she didnt have no words for me either.

I was so excited to work for the first time in forever.  16 and wont have to depend on nobody.  When we pulled up to the cafe i didn't hesitate to get out the car.
