"Hello, sorry to interrupt but I'm Sloan," she had decided to walk over to who she hoped was the writer to apologize. "I'm the person who asked you about the AMA's. I didn't mean to put you on the spot like that," she admitted.

Sloan was not a fan of acknowledging she's wrong, she thinks it stems from her negative feelings towards getting help. She always hated asking for help when she was younger, she would never ask for help when she was in middle and high school. It didn't matter what it was about, Sloan always felt it made her look weak. She still doesn't like asking of help, but she's become less negative about it.

"Ha! Honestly, you're fine. Some of your other classmates asked harder questions, it seemed like they didn't enjoy the movie all that much. But I'm David, I'm the head writer," he said extending his hand out for her to shake.

"Well, those are MIT engineers, and nice to meet you," Sloan smiled at the man across from her and accepted his gesture.

"Thank you for coming over here and meeting face-to-face. You're the first student we've talked to here," David's eyes quickly opened and turned to his right, "Oh! And this is Timothee Chalamet, actor extraordinaire."

It then dawned on Sloan that she totally did ruin their conversation. "Oh my god. I'm so sorry if I completely interrupted!"

"Nah, you're fine. We weren't talking about much... and I think you were the girl who said 'suck my ass' right?" Timmy question, slightly smirking.

"Um, no... I don't think so..." Sloan drew out, really hoping he didn't press any further. "That really doesn't sound like me."

"Hmm, okay." Timothèe said, not believing a word she said.

"Hey," David quickly interrupted, "I'm going to go thank Isobel for inviting us. I'll be back eventually." David put his arm on Timmy's shoulder and turned towards Sloan, "It was nice meeting you."

"You too!"

"Since you're here I take it you're in the robotics lab?" Timmy questioned. He was pretty sure he already knew the answer but he could sense the conversation would be hung to turn awkward quickly.

Sloan's eyes opened wide and her mouth fell slightly agape. "What? Yeah! How'd you know?"

"We were told that Dr. Chalin's two robotics classes would be at the after party." He admitted.

"This is an after party? It really doesn't seem like it. I mean, it is MIT but it also is MIT, so it doesn't really make sense." She looked at what was happening around here. There were a few familiar faces, some people she recognized from her physics classes or a calculus class. But most of the students she recognized were from her lab.

"It's not a bad one! It's just a little funny because there's not a lot of people I know. I'm I'm kind of intimidated by everyone here." Timmy moved his arms so they were now folded across his chest.

"Oh don't be. We're a bunch of fucking nerds." Sloan's bluntness resulted in a loud 'HA!' coming from Timmy, " I can introduce you to some people if you want?"

"That'd be great thank you!"

"Okay cool, follow me this way! I'll introduce you to my two closest friends. And maybe a couple other people if they're near Asha and Yara. Just a heads up Asha might get a little star struck." The two of them headed to a corner which had a couch and two chairs. Asha and Yara were there along with Asha's close friend Nishant who also became friends with the other two girls.

"Sloan's back from apologizing, guys! Oh my gosh you're Timothèe Chalamet..."

"Yep! And you're Asha, aren't you?" He chuckled.
