"Hey, Ruby? Can we-uh talk?"

I shot my eyes up to see a very nervous looking Luke, scratching the back of his neck in anticipation. I didn't know what to do. My mind was racing.
Do you think he wants to talk about a relationship or what we talked about last night? Oh my Lanta! What if Ashton told him about what happened in the bathroom?

"Sure, Luke. What's going on?"
He looked at me with his gorgeous blue eyes and walk in, shutting the door gently behind him.

"I was just going to talk to you about what happened last night. Do you have these panic attacks often?"
And, after he said that, I'm not sure why, but I grew disappointed. Why aren't we talking about our undying love for each other!?
I furrowed my brows, too far Ruby.

"Yeah, I used to be on meds for my anxiety and for my depression but not so much anymore. It didn't help that much. It just made me super dull and it was like I couldn't focus because it made me so mellow. "

He looked at me, concerned. "Are you okay? Do we need to take you to the physiatrist to get you a prescription? I don't want you to have to deal with that again. I know what its like." He pulled me into a side hug. He was warm, and he smelled like some sort of Axe body spray, but it wasn't unpleasant to smell. It was a welcoming scent. The Welcoming Scent of Luke.
I looked up at him from the hug, "Thanks, Luke. Maybe we should talk about it with Ashton? I don't know. I don't think I want to be on the medication again."

He smiled, "Yes, we can talk to Ash about it. For now, let's not worry about it. Are you ready to go shopping? Are you excited?" He pulled away from the hug, still smiling.
"Yes, I'm ready and yes I'm excited. Let's go see if Ash is ready."

Then, we walked hand in hand, downstairs to see if Ashton was ready to embark on today's adventure.

When we got downstairs, Calum was on the couch and Michael was nowhere to be seen. I let go of Luke's hand immediately, not wanting it to be weird if anyone saw.

"Hey, guys, check this sh/t out!" Calum said, his Austrailian accent thick and his mouth full of chips. In his hand was a game console controller and on the TV was a game of FIFA. I knew what it was because we used to play it at the orphanage.
"Nice! Damn, you got the new high score!" Luke said, plopping on the couch. He grabbed a controller and gestured for me to come sit next to him. I gladly accepted his invitation and sat next to him, putting my leg over his.

"Looks like someone is getting comfortable.." Calum said, seeing my leg intertwined with Luke's.

Luke looked at me and patted my leg,
"Well, would that be such a bad thing?"

I stepped out of the shower and grabbed my towel off the rack. I've been thinking about Ruby non-stop. I'm crazy about this girl. I love her so much. I cannot wait to take her shopping and spoil her today!

I made my way over to the door, towel hanging from my waist, and shut off the light walking out the door.
Before I entered my room, I yelled downstairs at Luke and Ruby, "Guys, I'll just be about 5 more minutes then we can leave, okay?"
I got some mumbles back, but I could hear TV noise so I figured they were wrapped up in some sort of game or show.
I went back to my room and picked out my clothes: A pair of black skinny jeans that were ripped in the knees and I plucked a random band T- shirt from my drawer.

I ran a styling cream through the mess of curly hair on my head and put on my glasses. I grabbed a pair of converse and socks and made my way out of the room and downstairs.

I descended the stairs and the first thing I noticed was Luke and Ruby sitting so comfortably and closely together.
I sat on a bar stool to put my shoes on.

There is no way in Hell Luke is trying to hit on Ruby.. Is there? Maybe they're just getting along really well.
He better not try anything, I just might kill him.

I finished tying my laces and stood up from the stool, "Okay, guys. Ready?"
Luke set his controller down. "Yup, I think we're all set."
They stood up off the couch together, hands intertwined.

"Alright, let's go on then!"

The three of us said our goodbyes to Calum and made our way out the door.

Even though I had a lot of other things to be stressed about, I could only think about one thing:
