Sometimes it's just hard to not to think about the negative side of something. It just feels like you can't stop your thoughts, they are shouting at you that "this is what is going to happen so don't think anything positive could happen". You want to think positive as you aren't expecting negative things of the situation. But you are just able to focus on the negative side of the situation because everything seems wrong and you kinda start losing hope of any thing positive happening in that situation. Everything seems negative and dark for you. This darkness eats you up and you get used to it.
You cannot remove darkness or negativity from your life as it is a part of our lives. But you can at least try to be positive. You have the power to make any negative situations outcome positive.
It's hard but worth it.
Negativity is like darkness. Darkness is nothing: It’s the absence of something. You turn on the light and darkness goes.Sunlight, for example, doesn’t get rid of negativity. It gets rid of darkness but not negativity.
So what light can you turn on that removes negativity the way sunlight removes darkness?
It’s the light of pure consciousness. The Self.
