Yume stirred in her sleep, what was that?

TAP! TAP! TAP!

It was coming from her window. Yume got out of bed, opened the window,  and saw Subaru on the tree branch. "What are you doing? What time is it?"

"Midnight, but that's not important," he said "Can I come in?"

"Whatever," Yume stepped aside and sat down on her beanbag. "What do you want?"

"Look, I've been wondering why Henry gets so excited to hear about what happens to us when he isn't around," said Subaru

"Because he's genially curious about us?"

"No, that may be what it sounds like, but then why does he write about it in his notebook?"

"He said he has trouble remembering," Yume reminded him

"But why would he need to remember?" Subaru asked "There are plenty of things we talk about that end up forgotten, we don't need to remember them, like our birthdays or -"

"I know when your birthday is!" Yume snapped

"That's not the point," said Subaru "The point is, he has a reason to remember and I think I figured out why -"

"January 13th!"

"What?"

"That's your birthday, isn't it?" Yume asked

Subaru rolled his eyes "Yes, can you just listen to -"

"You don't know my birthday!"

"March third! Now will you please shut up and listen?" Yume grumbled angrily but listened. "I think Henry could be attempting to kidnap then sell us!"

"What?"

"Now stay with me here," It was Yume's turn to roll her eyes "He takes notes about us, our age, height, quirks, then puts it all on an underground website where people trade unknowing stupid kids like us as slaves! He tricks us with snacks, stories, their cool house, it's all a trick so we'll end up in the trunk of his car and being traded to someone from Budapest or something,"

"What?"

"It's in Hunga -"

"I know where it is, Subaru," said Yume "I just think you're going bonkers. Henry and Shelly are our friends, they wouldn't hurt us,"

"That's just what they want you to think," Subaru said in a sing-song voice

Yume groaned "Just get out my room,"

Subaru sighed and started his descend down the tree. "I guess I'll see you in Europe. That where -"

"Get out!"

"Okay, okay,"

Yume had woke up tired and hungry that morning and was almost not in the mood for pancakes. But her father's breakfasts were just too good to resist. "Good morning sleepyhead, sleep well?" he asked

"I didn't get much sleep last night," said Yume as she grabbed a glass and a carton of milk "Subaru woke me up at 12 in the morning to tell me about one of his conspiracies. I'm gonna kill him,"

"Please don't," said Aria

"Yes well - Yume, your milk is over flowing," said Hime

"It's - *gasp*!" Yume put down the carton and grabbed a towel. She had blanked out while pouring her drink!
