Kitchens, Gardens, and Birthdays

Yuzu had refused to celebrate her birthday on the given date. Ever since the Arisugawa Triplets moved to Aikatsu Street, she and Tsubasa decided to share their birthdays. Yuzu was born June 23 and Tsubasa was born July 25, that was just enough space for two birthdays. There was also Kazu Igarashi, Nozomu's brother, who's birthday was on June 11. But he refused to share his birthday with anyone. But when the triplets moved onto Aikatsu Street, they learned their birthday was right in between Yuzu and Tsubasa's, July 7. So it was agreed, their five birthdays would be celebrated together and Yuzu refused to celebrate her birthday on June 23 so she could spend the special moment with her friends. "It's more fun that way," she said. But that didn't stop her aunt, Mr. Nikaido's older sister, from sending birthday post cards from wherever she happened to be on the planet for she loved to travel and couldn't sit still.

The party would be held at the Arisugawa's house. "Does that mean they'll be a tea party?" Aria asked

"Sorry," said Sakura "Everyone had to be considered and we didn't think the guys would have a lot of fun. Next time though,"

"Okay,"

The party was July 7, Two weeks on a Saturday. "Can we invite Henry and Shelly?" Haruka asked

"The house is too small," said Otome "I already asked our parents,"

"Aw man," Laura sighed

"I know you like them Laura," said Tsubasa "But you can't change the size of someone's house,"

"Of course you could! People do it all the time to their houses!"

"I said you  couldn't change the size of their house," said Tsubasa

"Got me there," Laura laughed, Tsubasa ruffled her little sister's hair.

The Arisugawa house was small, but it was one of the coziest. The entire outside was covered with flowers, the yard, the walls, the roof, it was almost like a colorful camouflage. The party decorations on the inside made it even more colorful. The inside was also wonderful and cozy, filled with old furniture and an entire wall of perfectly placed family photos. And not just with family, with friends as well.

"You hung up the picture from the beach!" Yume gasped as she and her sisters arrived.

"Of course! It was a momentous occasion," said Mikuru

"We just couldn't let it stay in cyber space for our enjoyment!" said Otome

"So now we just find our selves starring at the wall," said Sakura

This happened after every photo they took. The three triplets couldn't help but admire every new picture for a week or more, then forgot it for a while until they just happened to be starring at their Wall-O-Memories.

"I'm so excited for this party to get started!" said Yuzu "We stayed up so late thinking of games last week,"

"And we stayed up longer setting them up!" said Haruka

"We set them up this morning," said Laura

"Potato, Tomato, Potato,"

"The real masterpiece is that cake," said Tsubasa

The cake had been made by Mr. and Mrs. Nijino.  It was three tiers of buttercream, chocolate, and wonder! It was decorated with sugar and candy for special decoration and made it look like someone had actually cast a spell on it.

"It tastes even better then it looks," said Aria

"Yeah, we believe you," said Tsubasa
