Y/N POV

I took Lotor to the living room where my mom and my younger siblings were at. My mom looked older from the last time I saw here. She had dark brown hair with grey streaks in it, a few old spots, but that same toothy grin she always had. The twins had grown too.

Alicia and Alex, girl and boy twins who are now 6 years old, were taller but still childish. They had (Your color eyes), dark brown hair like my mom, and her tanned complexion.

"Who is this?" Alicia asks. "He looks like a big giant grape!" She said before poking his skin. "Oooo! Is he a cosplay?" Alex asks. I didn't feel like explaining that Lotor is literally from another galaxy and I'm just marrying him so I can save the universe from exploding under Zarkon's control So I said, "Yeah sure."

"Alicia and Alex, leave so we can let the big people talk." Momma says. "Awww! But I'm six!" Alex frowned. "Me too! I'm in first grade now!" Alicia complained. "Now go or I'll get the belt." The twins ran upstairs before mom even finished the sentence.

Lotor POV

I watched them run away upstairs then return my focus back on Y/N's mom. I extend my arm for a hand shake and instead she gives me a hug. I don't really have experience with family-like relationships so, I felt awkward and my arms were in the air. I glance at Y/N for some assistance and she signals me that I should hug her back, so I did.

We later break the hug and had a seat on the couch. "So this is going to be your husband?" Y/N's mom asks. Y/N blushes, "Yeah," her mom jumps a bit, "What?! I was just joking around. Now, how come I'm just knowing about this relationship? You never call me!"

"Maybe because we just got together literally a few days ago." I thought to myself. "I'm sorry mommy, I just really didn't have the time." Y/N said. Her mom glares at her, "Don't have the time? Where were you all this time?"

I tuned them out and look around the living space, and there were a lot of family pictures. One picture had a younger version of Y/N and she had the cheesiest smile ever. I chuckled at that one.

I look at some more pictures. There were the twins that do not look much other than they were now. There was one picture of a man that has the same cheesy grin like Y/N. I assumed that was her dad. Now that I think about it, I haven't seen him yet. He's probably at work or something.

"This is Lotor." Y/N said. I returned to the conversation, "Yes, it's a pleasure to finally meet you." I tell her mother. She looked unimpressed, "Why is he purple?" She asks. "Because he's from another galaxy." Y/N tells her.

"Lies. He's probably another junkie." Her mom spits out. "Junkie?? Like a person who do drugs? Or food junkie. I hope it's the second option." I thought. Y/N might have had a history of dating "Junkies". Her mom was only looking out for her then.

Y/N POV

I was gone for years. Fucking years, trying to save the universe. I come back with a husband finally, and she doesn't care to listen or understand my struggle.

It wasn't my fault that I got so addicted that I couldn't quit. It's not my fault that I got kicked out of high school. It's not my fault that I try to escape my depression.

The point is that I got out of it, and she's talking like I'm still high and off in the clouds. She did nothing to help my addiction and my depression. She fed it and let it grow wild like a fire on a building. All I had was a bucket of water to kill the fire myself.
