I hit the wall of the cell, almost blacking out at the impact. Never again will I cross Olivia. I don't want to be thrown again, at least by her. She throws hard.
Raze hit the wall as well, yet not as hard. He quickly scrambled to his feet, though fell again when Olivia slammed the cell door closed. She locked the door walking off without a word. I eventually managed to sit up, looking around the cell.
To my surprise it was quite large. It had two bunk beds that were connected to the wall, a toilet, a sink, and...a person?!
"R-Raze, there's someone else in here with us." I whispered to him, helping him up. He looked me in the eye, then gulped. I could see a glimpse of fear in those blue orbs of his.
"Should we wake whoever it is up?" he asked me. I simply gave a nod, walking slowly and quietly over to the sleeping person. I bit my lip, then shook who ever it was gently.
"H-Hello?" I stuttered out. The person slowly woke up, and looked up at me. Shock spread through her body, and she reacted harshly. The next thing I knew I was up against the wall, a hand wrapped around my throat. If this was any other person I'd be:
A. Fight to get free.
B. Claw at their hands.C. Bite them.
But this time I didn't. This time I was being choked by a woman. The only females that have ever been in my life ever had been my mother, and Olivia.
This woman seemed to be around my age. Her skin was a beautiful brown. Her eyes a deep chocolate brown. Her hair was jet black, and straight. It fell over her left eye, and her right eye had a scar over it. She was beautiful. I normally don't believe in stuff like this, but I swear that I fell in love with her at first sight.
I would have blushed but my face was turning a bright purple.
"Who are you and why are you here?" The girl growled. Her grip loosened so I could speak. I was finally able to get in some air. I took in a deep breath then answered her.
"I'm Hinge Lexter. A sixteen year old boy that's been on the run from Ivan. Though you can tell that I was caught. What's your name beautiful?" I knew I sounded like a huge flirt but I couldn't help it. The words simply just came out.
The girl let go of my neck, then slapped my cheek hard.
"Ow! God damn it!" I held my sore cheek. "I'm sorry, Miss. I didn't mean to come off like that!" I looked over in Raze's direction just to find that he had fallen asleep in one of the beds. He was curled up into a ball, chewing on his left paw.
The girl huffed, frowning at me. She sat down on her own bed.
"My name's Trittney. I'm in here for attempting to attack Ivan...twice." She muttered, shrugging. She then started eyeing me a bit, her left eyebrow raised. She then furrowed them.
“You're weak. I can tell,” she said, standing up again. She walked over to me, grabbing one of my arms. She seemed to be...feeling it?
“I-I'm not weak. I fought Ivan off!” I argued. Trittney rolled her eyes. She moved over to the other arm, squeezing it slightly.
“Fought him off? From what you said it seemed more like you had ran away in fear,” she said, poking at my chest. I blushed a bit, staying silent now. She moved from my chest to my stomach. “You're such a skinny little thing. You need to eat more.” She shook her head, though was smirking a bit. She then moved back to her spot on the bed.
“Yeah, you're weak and not eating enough.” She said bluntly. “Probably gonna die by the end of this year.*
“H-Hey! That's not my fault, I eat what's available to me. I'm used to not eating. It's been like this for six years.” I yelled at her, my face red from embarrassment. She rose her eyebrow again.
“Oh? You must've been from a different part of the state then. Where I'm from, they give out more food so the population is more fed.” She lied down in her bed, stretching a bit. “Check under my bed, I might have something saved over from today's dinner. If so, it's yours.”
I got down on my knees, looking under her bed for the food she was talking about.
“Thanks. That's very kind of you,” I told her, smiling to myself a little bit. Trittney moved on the bed a bit.
“Y-Yeah. Whatever. Don't expect anything kind like that from me again,” she said. I eventually found half a loaf of bread. It wasn't much, but at least it was something. I came out from under the bed finding Trittney...blushing?
I questioned it in my head, but didn't say anything aloud. I'm not ready to be strangled again. Trittney watched my movements as I walked from the middle of the room to the corner. I sat down, nibbling on the bread. I heard Raze snore softly from his bed. Looking up, I found him drooling on himself.
Trittney was watching me eat. It seemed that she was making sure that I was actually eating the bread. I eventually finished it, curling up right there on the floor. I yawned, trying to fall asleep.
“You're going to sleep already?” she asked me. I gave her a slight nod.
“I like to sleep while I digest my food. That, and it'll make time pass by quicker,” I mumbled.
“I would've guessed that you had fallen asleep on the truck ride here. Why are you still tired?” Boy, does this girl like asking questions.
“What can ya say, I'm a tired boy.” I slowly drifted off to sleep, hearing only the sound of Trittney chattering.
“Wake up my little prisoners, it's time for breakfast!” I heard a female voice say. I slowly woke up to find Olivia in the cell doorway. I found both Trittney and Raze awake. They hopped off of their beds and onto the floor, scared of what would happen if they didn't obey.
I did the same. Olivia seemed happy today, really happy. It was actually kind of strange to be honest. She was always so unamused, and angry.
I then realized when she dragged us to the door, that she had big plans for us...
