Apparently, throughout the slow night I had fallen asleep. I had been so deep in thought that I don't remember what time I had fallen asleep. But then again, the cell has no clock, and I don't own a watch anymore. The one that I had was destroyed in the balcony incident. Dang it, shadow!

I turned to look over at Trittney's bed. She was still sound asleep. I was tempted to wake her due to loneliness, but I knew that that idea was bad. She seemed upset when she had gone to sleep. She'd probably kill me if I woke her up. I simply sat there, lonely and bored.

It may have been late, but Olivia still had Raze working hard...I think. I couldn't be sure because I was trapped in the cell. I was praying that, that was all it was. If something ever happened to him, I don't know what I'd do. He's like a brother to me. A fuzzy one with a tail, yet still a brother.

I waited a bit longer, and eventually the cell door opened. Raze tiredly stumbled in, walking over to where I was sitting. He seemed exhausted, which is kind of strange. How can a wolf make guns to begin with? He has no hands.

Despite the large amount of confusion I'm feeling, I gave Raze a kind greeting.
"Hi," he said, then let out a sigh. He curled up next to me, setting his fluffy head onto my lap. I pet his head, gently sighing.

"I didn't think that I'd be able to do my job due to the fact that I have always, but I got it done. Trittney had to help me out some though." I nodded a bit.

The two of us then went silent for a bit. All that was on my mind was what Trittney had said. "Sometimes, revenge is the only thing that can make you feel complete again."

The decision that I was about to make would be tough. I could either stay innocent and live in the prison, or become a monster like my father and escape. I could do nothing to save the world or set everyone free. Each choice had its own set of pros and cons, but I knew which I would choose.

"Hey, Raze?" I asked, trying to gain his attention. He perked up a bit, lifting his head up from my lap.

"Yes Hinge, what is it?" He pulled himself into a sitting position. He didn't seem quite as tired as before.

"Trittney told me something and it got me thinking. What if we got revenge on our dads?"

    I watched Raze's eyes widen.

"How would we do that?" he asked, seeming genuinely unsure.

"Well, the only way that I can think of...death," Raze's jaw dropped. "N-Now, before you acuse me of being a psychopath, please listen. The two of them have killed hundreds of people, it's only fair that they get a taste of their own medicine. "

Raze stayed silent for a few moments, almost as if he was thinking it over. He then sighed.

"Even though I don't agree with your idea, I'll support you all the way. Just don't expect me to kill anyone."

"I didn't expect you to take it so well." I said, dumbfounded. He shrugged the best that he could.

"You're my best friend, I'll support you when it comes to pretty much anything." He gave me a pitbull like smile, snuggling into my side. I pet his head, thinking a bit.

"We need to come up with a plan. We can't just rush up to Ivan and try to strangle him." I'm just imagining how crazy I sound. I'm sitting here, trying to come up with ways to murder my best friend's dad. Anyone that didn't know me would believe that I was insane.

"Well, we should gain Ivan's trust. For that you would most likely need to show him just how strong you are." That meant that I would have to accept Ivan's offer. That entirely defeated the purpose of me refusing to begin with. But at this point it was for a good cause.

"That also works in eliminating my dad. I can prove my strength by having shadow finish him off." Raze nodded a bit, continuing to think.

"We then take out Ivan, sneak past the guards and escape," I concluded, feeling proud that I had come up with a plan so quickly. Even so, I felt like I was missing something. Or in this case, some one.

"What about Olivia?" That was who I was forgetting. After that whole emotional meltdown yesterday, I wasn't sure what to do with her.

"She's undecided, we'll figure out what to do with her later on. For now let's just focus on Ivan and my father."

"Okay." Raze lied back down, staring up at the ceiling. I leaned against the wall. I wish the world was normal again, that my mother was still alive, that my father was normal. But no, I had to be born with so much power, I had to be why they came to earth.

At this point, I felt so stressed that I could burst. Raze seemed to sense the stress radiating from my skin.

"Are you out okay, Hinge?" he asked, moving his gaze from the ceiling back down to m.

"No," I answer truthfully, sliding down the wall to lie next to him

      "What's on your mind?"

"I feel guilty. While I was talking to Ivan earlier, he told me that the power that my shadow hold is why they came to earth." I curled up into a small ball, hiding my face. "I'm why the world is like this. I wish that I never existed." I sounded so miserable.

      Raze nuzzle my back.

"D-Don't say that. If you didn't exist, I would have no friends, and your mother would be all alone. Many other lives would be hurt by you not being born.

"You're right, Raze," I said quietly. "Thank you."

"Aw, it was no problem. That's what I'm here for."

"No really, thank you, for everything. You've been with me through everything, you've helped me so much." I turned over, looking him in the eye. He seemed surprised by my sudden movements. I'm sure that if he were human, he'd be blushing. He gave me a small nod, then yawned.

"Get some sleep, Raze. I'll wake you up when it's breakfast time."

"A-Alright." He curled up and immediately fell asleep. I let out a soft chuckle, then stared at a spider in the corner of the  ceiling. I didn't really want to go back to sleep right now, so I just sat there thinking.

I was suddenly snapped out of my thoughts as I heard the cell dor open. I looked over and saw Olivia leaning in.

"Hinge, I need to talk to you."
