"And the prince got down on one knee with a shinning ring on his hand and asked Cinderella to marry him..." I finished the story and closed the book while putting it on Ami's bedside I asked,"so who would you wanna marry baby girl? "So am here sitting on my 7year old daughter's bed asking her who she would want to marry when the right time comes .Ahem I began doubting my parenting skills again .. " uhmmm "she pretended to be thinking while looking at the roof interrupting my thoughts,I couldn't help smiling as I thought of the boys in her class she kept mentioning each evening,first it was Wayne who kept pulling her hair in class then Junior who stepped on her under the table during break to Zayn our neighbour who tied her laces every morning,and I immediately guessed Zayn was the lucky prince charming... " daddy"she yelled with excitement interrupting my thoughts and I immediately looked at the door looking for 'daddy' but there was no one. "Sorry?what did you say" I asked the little mistress. "Daddy,I'd love to marry daddy " she said again this time smiling so much till her beautiful eyes sunk in with humour,I couldn't help laughing so hard. "No way honey" I said smiling at her while she got a little disappointed by me refusing to let her marry my RAF.
"But why mummy" she nagged
"Because he is mine,he is my husband and I can't let you share him with me,hell no woman "I told her poking her nose as she frowned
" but I want to mummy"she continued as I took her into my arms tickling her until the whole house was full of her sound laughing with so much life in it..Now It was clear she still knew nothing about marriage no matter how many bed time stories I read to her she still wouldn't get it.
But her wanting my husband was another thing.

I don't share a man
