"No!No Ashley you don't get to do that "
It wasn't only the first time I heard him yell so hard at me but also the first time he called me by my name,Ashley .The mad veins began to pop,he had folded his sleeves,and today it wasn't breathtaking like it always was because he was breathing fire .
"It's 2 in the morning for crying out loud and you were not picking my calls"he said looking at me with worry written all over him.
" TALK !"He didn't beg today ,he yelled but I perfectly got it,which woman in their right mind comes to their husband at 2!.
" You know,i don't know where i went wrong but what about Ami?that little thing needs you,you are a mother just in case you forgot" those words hit hard but they couldn't even make me justify myself,like i had guns in my head stopping me or they let the bullet fly through my brains,whats worse is i chose the 'bullet' over family. I just stood there holding my bag so tight on my chest ,I don't know why but I felt like it was the only thing I could hold on to tight that time. I couldn't look at him .let alone talk .I was numb.

The whole room went into a pin drop silence while i stood there like a naughty kid waiting for my verdict,I was waiting to be judged by my husband who was now the judge .He was staring at me and the expression in his face changed to something different ,wild,he was looking at my bust,three consecutive buttons were missing leaving my right breast almost falling out. And That!that was to say "Guilty your honour".
" Ash?Are you having an affair with Lamek?"He laughed so sarcastic with so much bitterness in his voice,bitterness was what he had tonight.
"I didn't see that coming,how?" He asked while pushing his hair back severally ,hands akimbo , something he did when he was nerves.,I kept shaking my head ,everything was spinning now,It was blur. Raf was yelling something ,he kept repeating one thing though .
"You stooped so low as to flirt with your boss"
Then BANG!
That's when I got out of my 5 second of amnesia, the rattles of teacups ,glasses ,my favourite utensil were rolling and breaking just like my heart was.

Then I noticed the lights were different,they had a dim red and the flowers ,then the ..Shit,holy crap.It was our 4th anniversary!.

No one knew what happened that night but if only the escalator could talk.If only the damn escalators could speak for me.
